Early on as aa spotter, one, (and will remain only time) crouched down about five or six feet away from a fast approaching freight. The sound at the 1:25 mark now etched in my memory. Likely totally pissed off cab crew as well as lucky to not be injured. Fierce wind blast almost knocked me over. Let a well anchored camera catch this kind of action. Remember too, don't trespass. I like the up close below track level angle on train #1. Recently saw a vid shot at Horseshoe Curve from that position. Gives a completely different and interesting perspective!
I havent tried them yet, I dont even have NS on at home because ill hear the Bison Yard all night, probably the same would happen if I put CSX Terminal on LOL. I might try them on a portable though
i think that 7 track gated crossing,is located far away from the 4 tracked railroad but i realised they both were the same tracks but different crossings..thanks to the signal and the 2 tracks i got to know that they are the similar crossings with just the tracks increased...loool
