Who would have believed that 26 yr old vehicles would be worth this much money although they were much better built than the vehicles being made in these latter years
This 98 Silverado is a real treat to see, for the engine light coming on is the sensor before the catalectic, which means they ran to much 87 octane in it for to long, the book tells that 91 octane is for true performance with the fuel injection of the day and that is what it was tested on, not 87. Nice country caddy and I love that victory red. Old, Master Gunnery SGT USMC.
A Lot of oil/wetness on under carriage/cross member, be interested to know where that's coming from, other than that it's a nice looking truck. I have a 97 single cab swb, 2/4 drop, been driving to work for 12 years, put a new motor and trans in 2019 plan on driving it another 15+ years if possible
I love these trucks. However, I don't think that it would pass an inspection. Vehicles from 1996 and forward have to have an air bag. Most of the 90's models have them in their steering wheel. The replacement one doesn't have an air bag; which is also why the air bag light is on. As always, have a very happy healthy safe and enjoyable day 👍🙏

Looks like quite a bit of fluid has leaked on the under carriage. Nice truck other than that. And the check engine light .????
Beautiful GM truck. Should sell quite fast I would think.

Well, will need a new wire harness because the plastic on these were made of soy plastic and squirrels and other mice / rats love it .

Not all states have inspections
Carton of cigarettes or a case of beer normally gets you thru inspection.
It’s bc of the steering wheel in changed out bc this steering wheel does not have a airbag on it
