What is CodeNames?
Let me be the first to say that I think this game is better live so chat can also guess and lose their mind. But I still wanted to post it. Youll like it!
Two teams compete by each having a "spymaster" give one-word clues that can point to multiple words on the board. The other players on the team attempt to guess their team's words while avoiding the words of the other team. In a variant with 2-3 players, one spymaster gives clues to the other player or players.
So the Spy Master of each time will say a word and a number. The word given is the connecting word that relates to OTHER words on the board. The Number given is how many OTHER words on the board it relates to.
First team to guess all of the words without hitting a bomb wins. If you guess an opponent words or a free spot your turn ends and the other team goes
You'll pick it up fast!

I swear, every time Cheesy thinks he understands Marc Antony, he somehow get's further away from the answers.
He did eventually get close. Marc Anthony (with an H) is a fashion brand. They don't produce perfume/cologne as far as I know, though, but it's closer to a true statement than being a pizza chain even if it isn't the Mark Antony Chilled was going for.

Cheesy's age is no excuse for being so unculture as to not know who Marc Antony is.
As a European myself, i just can't understand why you guys do not get taught about him as Marcus Antonius, you know, his actual name. Why somebody decided to just 'make his name more English, just because... reasons?' kind of screwed the pooch on that one. Half of you guys are also saying 'Marc' instead of 'Mark' and sometimes they use 'Anthony' instead of 'Antony'. Issues that could have been avoided by just using his proper name in the first place.

The thing I find funniest is that everyone else in the lobby had at least some degree of knowledge of who Marc Antony was. He somehow just got incredibly unlucky with who his teammates ended up being. At least in terms of understanding his clues. For making the best content he got the best teammates he could ask for.

Majority of people only know roman history from knowing a few significant people: Julius Ceasar, Octavian/Augustus, Marc Antony, Marcus Brutus even Caligula and Nero.

They're gimmick before the Hot and Ready pizzas was that you couldn't buy one pizza, you'd always get two pizzas for the price of one. Extrapolating from the reference to Little Caesars, Julius Caesar was a former lover of Cleopatra's and both a friend and rival to Marc Antony.

Why do I feel like this “Marc Antony” game put Courtilly and Cheesy on Chilled’s Among Us hit list for their next session?
I’m glad Courtilly is a regular in the group, she’s got a great sense of humour and just generally a nice person
I’m not a big history person, but Julius Caesar is my favorite Shakespeare play, so I know Antony.
I don't know a whole lot about Marc Antony but I know enough that the first 10 min were painful.
After seeing this happen in real time on Cheesy's stream, this is everything I expected it to be. Marc Antony will live on forever as one of the greatest clues to ever be fucked up by the guessers.
