So the sunscreen before or after moisturizer is debatable if you are using chemical sunscreen, because chemical sunscreen reacts with your skin in order to work (that one of the reasons you are supposed to wait 15 mins or so before going into the sun). Derms are back and forth on whether or not moisturizer, especially a really occlusive one, will prevent the necessary reaction. Physical sunscreen though definitely goes last.

If it’s a generational thing there’s probably a lot more knowledge about natural remedies compared to just normal people throwing together a bunch of ingredients
It's probably BECAUSE they've used them for generations; they know the dos and don'ts due to trial and error through the years. Most people who do the "trendy miracle diy mask(etc etc etc)" usually don't have that and are just jumping in stupidly or intellectually (but in a not good intellectual way...greed specifically though also for other not good reasons). There's a difference between what you guys have vs what the famous/influencers have which means that these popular people teaching the every person their "perfect tricks" isn't like good ol grandma or momma telling their next generation tried true methods. So do not take this as a personal attack to your culture or country or whatever as your people most likely have something different that what he's bashing (though I wouldn't trust all your neighbors or friends as even though most are true...others may be lying pieces of shit...but I'm definitely giving you the approval button as most middle eastern and asian countries are 1000000000% better than us Americans when it comes to health and skincare...maybe even better that...most all other countries). 😅 Pretty much a longer winded explanation of the comment above me meaning you have two people who give your people a thumbs up in the benefit of the doubt award. Yay India! 👍👍👍
@@rosie8642 yeah I think that’s true. Most Americans will throw whatever someone else who has good skin says to put on your skin together and think it will give them amazing skin. Whereas in other cultures they have been using those remedies for generations so they know how to use them correctly
Most American diy face masks are not as well researched as indian ones. Plus even when other people try to use the Indian diy ones they mess up the ratios
Notice that the Skinceuticals Vitamin C serum she's using is brown. This means that the serum is very much oxidized and ineffective, which can even possibly sensitize the skin.
Yeah he's right in case of kendall's diy face mask it doesn't have a lot of life changing ingredients and its better to eat most of the things she puts on her face....its more beneficial that way!
I love how he's so positive and keeps appreciating what should be and points out what's wrong without offending anyone. Just LOVE his attitude..so much love♡
Why do I feel like someone on her team gave her this routine to seem “relatable” and chill ??? She’s one of the most successful models in the world .. AVOCADO?? Edit: this is not throwing shade to Kendall in any way, just would prefer her to say hey I make avocado face masks... and spend thousands of dollars on professional facials every year!
Kourtney is all about “natural” stuff and she passed on some of her tendencies to the rest of the family. A lot of people think natural is better and therefore using an avocado, no matter how cheap it might be in your country (here in Portugal it’s quite expensive), is part of being luxurious as well. Also, making your own masks can be a really fun thing to do, so I don’t think a rich person is, at all, above that. You see it everywhere, people with money making their own stuff. And Kendall loves painting and cooking, so it seems very plausible if she really does this from time to time. I’d also just like to add that if you’re rich, it makes a whole lot more sense if you use cheaper products between drugstore price point and 100 dollars, because you have easy access to knowledge and know there are a loooot of amazing products at incredible price points and there’s no need to spend too much on skincare. You also know too many products are actually too sensitising and add no real value to your skin health. The gold rule is keeping it simple.

@@zains2396 it actually depends on the type of sunscreen that you are using. both chemical and physical sunscreens have different ways in how they block uv from your skin. it really depends on the products you use because you cant just put a thick moisturizer and then a chemical spf because it can interfere with the penetration or put a physical sunscreen then a moisturizer when physical sunscreens block the uv rays by creating a barrier.

I'm from india, and literally for generations people have used natural DIY masks and their skin is just gorgeous.. :((
If it’s a generational thing there’s probably a lot more knowledge about natural remedies compared to just normal people throwing together a bunch of ingredients
Yay India! 👍👍👍
Like Multani mitti and turmeric
@@rosie8642 yeah I think that’s true. Most Americans will throw whatever someone else who has good skin says to put on your skin together and think it will give them amazing skin. Whereas in other cultures they have been using those remedies for generations so they know how to use them correctly

Right?!?! You know that she does not mash up that avocado craziness every day.

I feel like some people overlook a certain thing. A lot of people seem to forget that aestheticians do not perform miracles. You cannot have a good skin only by visiting them no matter how skilled and talented they are.
You have to have a good skincare routine on a daily basis.
Another thing, the fact that she is a model can actually prevent her skin from looking good. She said it herself. During the Fashion week, they have to switch their outfits and makeup very quickly. The same brush can be used on five different girls in a row. Bacteria proliferation and worsening of skin issues.
