The reviews said that the movie had "bad choreography." Did we watch the same movie?!
casedinlight oh sure nothing said that
Lmao what reviews?
I know right? So many reviews said this
Right???? Like this choreography is awesome.

It’s June of 2020 and I think everyone should watch this movie again...
I agree
Yes that’s should happen
periodt. teaches multiple lessons!
Zoe Bocalan en
I just read this on June 23 and I agree. really😐
While others are so hype about "rewrite the stars" and "Never enough" i think this one was a master piece.
they are all fantastic songs.
ShaySmiles i agree but i love this one more and "walking on a tight rope"😄😄
I love about half the songs in this movie
I have to say, for me, this is even better than This Is Me. And, that's saying something!
This is definitely my favourite and for me the most powerful song of the movie. It makes me feel pain, sadness, hope and inspiration - all in one. Like that moment when you have to climb the mountain and it's really hard and painful, but once you reach the top, you experience the sweet taste of victory. It hurts but it's beautiful. And motivating.
"Another critic might have called it a celebration of humanity."
If that wasnt mr Benutt that said that it was a calibration of humanity, than I will die.....yes...die
I could not have said it any better than you did. From now on .
That's one of my favorite quotes :)
Even when you read up about Barnum and what he was like this film celebrates all the differences in everyone
haha you have 666 likes hahah
Don’t get me wrong, that kiss was adorable, but can you imagine how awkward it must’ve been to do that while a camera crew is just hovering over you?
An Intelligent Cookie right
But Anne was happy to have Phillip back
An Intelligent Cookie If you’ve seen Stranger Things Season 2 then you know that was more awkward
@@dyzirewoodward1713 I haven't seen Stranger Things, but I can imagine so.
I mean yea but they seemed to enjoy it lmao
I love how everyone fell in love with the albino twins even though they're not the main characters in the movie
I like the Siamese twins
Love songs for treaties show man
Exactly!! :-D
@@aweirdworld7074 YEEES
The choreographer who came up with this is a god.
And those two actresses who play the albino twins are fierce!
I love the albino twins. They are so visibly striking in every scene.
YES!!! They're the first ones my eyes are drawn to in every scene! And God, can they dance!
Does anyone know who plays the two albino twins?
@@onoono8632 Caoife Coleman and Mishay Petronelli. I think Caoife is the twin dancing on the bartop and Mishay dances in the front.
hero7632 thank youuu
Whoever was the dance coordinator for this movie deserves a medal
Christopher Mueller Totally agree
Yes
I believe it hugh jackman he stop playing wolvering start stage acting and Broadway shows
But i could be wrong
Tattoo man was credited as a choreographer, I think. Makes sense as he absolutely slew this
I personally believe 2:56 is the best part of the song when it comes to choreography
You're not the only one. My favorite part! That dude and one of the albino twin sisters are killing it!
Dwight Adrian Miranda totally agree!
That's my favorite part specially those front dancer
AGREED.
I get chills Everytime
I really love the acapella ending to this song. Those three singing together is just gold.
Props to albino twins, especially for dancing in heels
Tavita Phillip I know right? I can’t dance, let alone to do it in heels. That takes some mad skills. The albino twins certainly do have those skills.
I think most of the women would have been in heels considering the time period😊
Men use to dance in heels.
They look a lot like Anadil from The School for good and evil.
2:56 is such a power moment! The man with the white dreads, the man with the burnt scars on his face, the eldest Albino twin, and the tattooed man, all four of them leading the peak of the dance so powerfully. You can feel their devotion and their emotion! It’s incredible and inspiring to see how the choreography becomes the embodiment of being free and thriving on who they are.
The dance so well together, like a family :)
i loved the albino twins. they should have been a bigger role in the movie. there dancing is amazing and tbh I find them really pretty. I love the music in this movie but I have to admit this is one of the best ones along with that "this is me" song and "never enough" The cool thing is i looked these people up and all of these people like Jenny Lind and the Albinos existed.
All of them are ALREADY a family:)
I LOVE LOVE LOVE that scene. so fucking good. the dancing is so good. and the 2 in the middle, the albino and the scar guy had such a gripping presence in this (especially the albino) for me, completely pulled my attention. in laters watches i realized the other amazing people around them
I couldn't say it any better
@@nicoalbanese4022 I agree I find them so "flowy" and whimsical haha like free spirits. Every scene they were in I couldn't take my eyes off them
I love how all the comments for this song/choreography are so passionate, this is truly one of the most underrated songs of the movie and it deserves so much recognition it’s a masterpiece.
Masterpieces are always hidden, recignition just destroys them and make them joke
Ellie Lewis it truly is a masterpiece. Like when this scene played in the movie, I cried. I cried because I was so happy for them going to get their home back. (Hence the lyric, “and we will come back home, home again”).
Everyone in the comments: The choreography and albino twins
Me: And they’re absolutely right

i just can't stop watching the choreography at 2:55
AnneNicole especially the Albino girl with the skirt 😍

Neither can I! The touching the floor move at 3:03 is incredible
It’s timed so perfectly, it’s amazing
The albino twins. There something about them that just stands out from the rest! The amount of energy they put into their dancing is so mesmerising!

I am glad that I am not alone!

The fact that Rotten Tomatoes gave this a 56% makes me question they’re intelligence, sanity, and legitimacy
Well... there are people who don’t like it 100%... one of them being me... though I recognised it’s very well made and has fantastic performers... I just don’t like the story.

I enjoy reading the comments about this video cos most of them reflect how I feel about the song, the choreography and the movie itself. Not too mention, I'm a huge fan of Jackman. Someone who can play wolverine with a scowl and do musicals with a smile so well has to be a fantastic actor.
Ikr
Oyin and FJ wait, I just realized I was saying his last name wrong 😅. My bad 😅. I love Hugh Jackman too. He was in my favorite movie, les miserable. He is such an awesome man.
You should have said I'm a hugh fan of Jackman.
reminiscence was really good too
The albino woman with the long hair and skirt... her dancing SPEAKS TO MY SOUL. 😍😍😍😍😍
Paul My God, yes, I can't keep away my eyes from her.
The one in front? Because sammeee.
Mishay Petronelli
Thought i was the only one mesmerised by her aura 😊
finally someone said it.
I'm 25 and I don't have half the energy of Hugh Jackman.
Bwahahahaha. Watching this on DVD with my husband, paused it just to point out: "you know, of all the things about this movie...I believe Hugh Jackman was running that fast."

To be honest, he did spend half of his life training to be the wolverine

IKR I AGREE WITH YOU
The best song and the best scene in the entire film. Jackman's incredible voice, the chorus, the choreography, the power of him running to reclaim what he's lost and repent to his wife, and then Philip and Anne, finally able to be together. Perfection. Say what you will about this film, but this scene is right near flawless.
Is it me or is the whole song gives me chills Especially the ending when the three of them were singing the song it calmed me and it’s my 10,000,000th time listening to mostly the ending on replay SEND HELP
Tamia Cousins YES OMGGG I LITERALLY TEAR UP
So truee it's my favorite part
Yes, this song gives me chills too.
This song is the best
You‘re not alone ;)
so y'all not gonna mention how amazing the harmonies sound the end of the scene?? 😍😍👏
Well, I've watched this countless times. And, this is the first time (which I watched before your comment) that I noticed----and really appreciated---them.
There are many "gems" in this entire performance. I keep watching it because of them. For instance, I've started watching individual dancers. Each and every one of them is worth watching. They are the "best of the best", and I am honored to see them.
I wish it lasted longer!!
They need to release a version of that bit cos that shit stung my soul!
Ikr!! The harmonization is what I live for. tried doing it but no I sounded like a whale 😂
Dawg not going to lie I skip to that part and watch it over and over again
Just me or does this bar owner seem strangely chill with people dancing on his tables?
Ginny Weasly he was sharing their joy at the news of them getting their home back.
Ginny Weasly I mean, that’s just my theory.
2:56 can’t stop replay this moment just to see how the person in white is dancing

The real world.
your not in that kinda of movie....tragedy maybe?
This is probably the first movie I've seen where the actor's are doing more than just acting but are also putting there heart and joy in it:)
I understand that for many of the cast members, they didn't just show up on days where they were part of the shooting. They also showed up when other cast members were shooting. And, Hugh Jackman was one of the ones who appeared, on-set, even though his scenes were not being shot that day. He just wanted to be there to see and to provide support for those whose scenes were being shot. And, no, that is not common behavior for a "big-name" actor.
Wow you need to see Les Miserables, either the film or musical. Has the 2 best Aussie actors in it: Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe.
In all my years, I've never seen a musical that I liked...even a little. This movie.....I absolutely loved. The music and performances were...💯
You should watch Moulin Rouge with Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman... you will like it
That little arm swing jimmy they do at the 3:29 mark never once fails to make me smile for some reason. Seeing that perfect in sync choreography is so beautiful.
It’s the sync that’s doing it for me
The guy at the center of 3:56 makes the the whole scene uses his body to play the beat

I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE
What was it the critic called it? "A celebration of humanity". Understatement of the damn century.
The happiness and joy of this cast throughout the whole film didn't come from the perspective of their characters. You just felt the people themselves were so happy to be in this film, they lost sight of their characters and just became themselves dancing their hearts out with their friends.
I've never come out of a film, gone straight to the ticket machine again, metaphorically said "Take my money", and went straight back in again before. Reason is watching this you get a small slither of the joy they felt performing this. And that tiny piece had me welled up and beaming the whole film through. No other film has made me feel that sort of happiness before.
I completely agree
Completely agree. As soon as the movie was done when I watched it the first time I turned to the boyfriend and said, " I LOVED that movie." Now seen it 3 times in theaters and can't wait to buy it when it comes out. It truly is a celebration of humanity in it's purest and most raw form.
Use the Force Harry I DID THE SAME THING. I SAW IT, IMMEDIATELY BOUGHT ANOTHER TICKET, WATCHED AGAIN. THEN SAW IT AGAIN THE NEXT NIGHT LMAO IT'S UNREAL. I'M NOW ON MY 6TH TIME WATCHING IT.
When the critic said he never liked the show, I was saying with my inside head, no kidding!!!
I felt exactly the same. Nothing that was bad happening in my life mattered anymore, I felt like the most carefree and happiest person alive.
this is so fucking intense and beautiful. the scenery, the characters, the vocals, and the fucking dancing. JESUS CHRIST, this speaks to me so hard

This is one of my favorite songs in the whole movie. The choreography is mesmerizing.
To me one of the big things is I love to watch a different character every time. It's fantastic! They all have such lovely and specific dances. Even watch the bartender! (Also the Albino twins, dreads, burnt man, and tattoo man are fantastic!)
Russ Thongs aren’t they though? I think so!
Its so interesting because no one has the same dance movement, but they all tie into together so you can go back and see something different when focusing on another actor. I love this choreography!
I am so fascinated by the albino girls. They're doing all these dance moves in heels! How incredible is that?!
Have you heard of Fred Astaire? His lesser known (and appreciated) main dance partner was Ginger Rogers. Well, many people, who are resentful that woman have not been given enough credit throughout history, have said that, "Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did (dancing-wise) except she did it backwards and in high heels". lol. (But, so true).
Penny heels at that :oo
whem i first saw this movie, for some reason the albino twins became my favorite background characters. glad to see i’m not the only one. love them so much.
One of them walked with Leeta in "This Is Me" and was very powerful in the ballroom scene ... the albino lady was eerily amazing!
Diane Nelson that was one of my favorite part. that particular twin was so amazing in “this is me”
Leilani Barajas hfhbtujg
Their instagram users are @/caoifecoleman and@/mishayyyy!! I've been following Mishay for a while now she's an AMAZING dancer
They're just so fill of energy. Though my personal favorite is still the worlds fattest man.
This is my favorite number in the whole movie. I got to see Hugh Jackman live last year, and when they played this song, the whole arena was jumping up and down singing along. Its such an underrated number!!!
I get goosebumps everytime when the choreography starts and they start singing "And we will come back home"
This movie was excellent and this scene will forever be my favorite!

Watched this on the 2nd of January 2018 at the cinema whilst I was dealing with kidney and stomach issues, stress and a horrible sense of anxiety and agoraphobia...watched this and thought "Wish I could gather the courage to go and study music and do something I love..like the greatest showman" and by the grace of God recovered from may onwards. Now studying music at a big city with no stomach, kidney or anxiety. "Whats waiting for tomorrow starts tonight...." for sure!!!!!!
You are amazing :)
That day was my Birthday and congratulations.
We need a follow up! How are you doing now?
Aww bless ya - thanks for the enquiry !
I'm doing super well thanks - Weirdly I haven't officially been "sick" with a virus for almost one year (I came down with NUMEROUS colds etc this time last year every single week) but I have definitely struggled with self inflicted anxiety which has had an effect on my stomach. But..I know its all stress related as I don't believe Ive had any germ-inflicted things. Thank you for asking - haha in terms of the degree its GOOD! a ton of vast talent to compete with but they are all absolutely incredible people; Im very glad I made the decision to move. Hope you're well xx
Congrats girl! Only, I hope it was a typo when you wrote "no stomach, kidney or anxiety"?
If it were not for this music number, I wouldn't have seen the movie five times in theaters. (maybe just two or three) Every single actor *owned* their spot, no matter how brief it was, they all just looked so damn happy to be there, it was contagious.
Peter Franks this music number gave me goosebumps, such a beautiful song, and you can hear the passion in hugh jackmans voice
Cody Harris that just reminded me of a video I saw. Were everyone was together singing the songs to see how it was going to sound in the final takes of recording in the studio. Hugh was sick and wasn't allowed to sing but when it came this song (one of the guys who was part of the choir that sang the songs) was replacing Hugh but a few seconds into the song Hugh couldn't take it anymore and started to sing. One of his eyes was beelding (because of the healh problem he had) but he didn't care he kept singing it with all his passion .
Cody Harris this is the video. It was amazing to watch everyone was singing and jumping happy to sing that song with such emotions. It was beautiful to watch ruclips.net/video/PluaPvhkIMU/видео.html
The one where Jackman lost the "No Singing Challenge". Look close enough, you can see which actors made it to the final cut. As a former actor myself, I can tell you that the table-reads are the most genuine performances because they're done before weeks of grilling rehearsals "regiment" the performer's emotional responses, which is why the table-reads are so much fun, and it showed there too. Especially the tall blond guy with the grey skin patches. During the table read, he was *about* it.
they danced their butts off it was so great!!
OMG Hugh Jackman is a great singer.....

you could tell me that it took just one take to nail the dance and I would not deny that. Look at how energetic they all seem during that dance. Holy shit that's some passion right there.
"Let the promise in me start like an anthem in my heart"... This part gets me everytime... Also I love the part when Hugh is trying to reach the train... Very significative, at least for me.

Can we agree that Hugh sings like an angel?
Absolutely

It's because he's an actor as well as a singer. And, no, my comment is not to meant to take anything away from the fact that Hugh Jackman is also a great "human". But, without his great acting ability, I do not believe he could represent such a great "human" as he does.

Kind of a underrated song and number surprisingly. I hear a lot of people getting caught up in the title song ending the film, which is great, but this is a beautiful finale/pre-finale. Just cathartic. Pasek and Paul really dug deep and showed their limitless range as writers on this film. Untouchable perfection.

It’s because we feel the emotion in the dancing. It makes me cry as well. It’s just very emotional and beautiful and free.
Emily it's because we feel the very raw emotion from the dance and song that it tugs at our hearts and makes us cry
Same
This song is my favourite song from The Greatest Showman. It means so much to me and it has taught me so much.

The song that has taught me so much is this is me, and this one as well... 😇😇
I just thought this is a good movie at first time, but now it's the greatest musical movie ever to me
ikr!!!! its just grows on you°°
This was my favorite sequence in the whole movie. 😍
The albino twins so effortless😍😍 The whole cast that were involved was perfectly chosen too! This song and this part in general though was by far my favourite because of the meaning behind it, amazing!
Charlie Jo I didn't realize there were 2 of them till you commented this😂
Tinka Veronique Jansen It took me a few times watching as well, I noticed her hair bouncing in the background 🤣🤣
Charlie Jo i thought they are twins at first too but they aren't.....i look closely when im watching their other scenes
Al Ly this film I think this was inspired by one of the circuses in the past, I'm not sure if the albinos were actually triplets (seen somewhere) 2 girls one boy, they are ment to be twins in the movie obviously the actresses that play them aren't twins but they tried to make them look similar as possible
Theres actually 3 of them😂
This film never fails to bring me to tears. The performances and songs are the best in any musical I've ever seen.
2:19 still gives me chills everytime
This scene meant a lot to me. My favourite, most moving scene ever.
This is a powerful song with such a positive message. We saw this movie for the 5th time last night 4/30/18.
kermitefrog64 u mean 30/4/18
They write the dates in a different order in other countries xx
kermitefrog64 same
kermitefrog64 me too!
kermitefrog64 is it supposed to be 4/3/18 not 4/30/18 no affence but I think it’s a tiny mistake ^_^
I just love seeing half of the comments are about the Albino Twins and their amazing dancing. They're also my favourite and I've always thought that i was the only one who noticed how good they are and that they deserved a bit more screen time or at least one line. I always looked at them whenever i get the chance to when i watched the movie. 😊😊
Josef Agustin Solivio same :)
2:40 when I get out of school on Friday
Me and my classmates on friday like:
Me on Christmas break
Hahahahahhaha!!!!
The harmony at the end is completely crazy
It's heavenly 😭😭😭
this hit me so hard. because i have this kind of moment in my life where i had achieved everything. money, success, high position in company, respects from people i hate. but i sacrificed years of time with my wife and kids. i became so arrogant , and by the time all of that was lost. only family that was still there for me , helping and cherish me up. provide a place where i can always come back home.
Well it's good that you have realised so that means you aren't arrogant anymore
Never let that happen to u
It's a beautiful thing when a man can admit what you just did. Unfortunately for many of us, only tragedies can wake us up from our hard hearts. Teach others what you've learned!
ah....i wish. :D
NoteDeath010 really admire your effort to digging up information. But this time,... check slowly. Lol. there's even a video of my daughter and son in my channel. And Dont be deceive with my look :D . im actually quite old ( even tho thats not a bad thing )
Honestly, there isn't a single song from this movie that's not a masterpiece.♡
Great song. The mixture of Irish and African dance makes it unique. Again, Great song !
