Hi Freya, we had a similar experience with an older lady in a John Lewis store Re our tiny little dog, the lady was walking past us pointed at our dog and said very loudly “I can’t believe they let THOSE things in here”, my partner was quick off the mark and said back “we were just thinking the same about rude opinionated pensioners” 😅, but she did deserve it, just no need to be so horrible esp as John Lewis actively encourage you to bring well behaved dogs in 😊x

Oh my the herb garden is a dream. My Dad always grew tomatoes (all sizes) and basil along with the randon squash. Nothing better than home grown veggies. About the ugh from the non-dog lady. I would have done the same and not said anything. That was uncalled for...when people are rude I try to think it's nothing to do with what they say but maybe something about their life is really bad so they lash out at anything. So I'd not say anything either bc I really really don't like confrontation 💜💙💚💛🧡

I have a phobia of dogs from something that happened when I was three but I have had therapy and hypnotherapy. I have managed to get used to three older dogs but I am still terrified of off lead dogs. I love pictures of doge and swoon over photos of puppies, I also love seeing Barney, he is gorgeous. Such a rude woman....

Hi Freya Presumed Innocent is the remake of the Harrison Ford 1990 film of the same name. I have watched both and may I suggest you watch the film as well I enjoyed both! It’s available on Prime Video to rent. The unkind lady about Barney we had a similar incident with Baxter our Westie in a dog friendly pub in Cornwall on holiday one year. These people were really rude so we suggested they speak to the pub owner as it was his decision to make it dog friendly one. I was really upset so uncalled for. Baxter is one if the family just like Barney is with you they are not just dogs they are our babies ❤❤
I've realised the hard way today after the way my sis treated me yet again that dogs are better than humans, don't upset you, always by your side, i couldn't hold back re that rude woman ❤
