Agree tested bmw, jag, audi and Porsche. Ordered a GV 70 3.5 litre last month. Outstanding quality and features not even available on the others. If you can get over the European brand snobbery then the Genesis is a stand out buy. 6 month waiting list though.
Same. Got my order in for the GV70. Lexus, BMW, VW brands cannot touch the value and quality at the price level. Also, safety systems work well and can be tuned out easily unlike some other brand cars that beep, chime and nag at you constantly.
Everyone keeps moaning about reliability, I am sure very few actually owned one. I have had a Jag for over 5 years now, it's been an absolute pleasure to own and drive. I have also test drive this F pace, I am sure ordering one- I loveee it.

There are a lot of people who make Jaguar reliability comments based on a reputation from 40 years ago which is simply no longer true.
What you have is an anecdote. What writers cite are statistics based on a wide survey of data. I will never buy a Jag, and I do like the F-Pace, because of their long and sordid history of unreliability.
Surprised by this report. Jaguar is very consistent with one thing..... being ranked as one of the least reliable brands worldwide. This include TUV in Germany, Consumer Reports in the US and in the UK the only things that make it look better as a brand are Land Rover (considered worst), Porsche (catching being low rate of breakage, but among highest cost - 911's are bulletproof, but most people don't buy 911's). With that said..... where was the X3? I will give one thing to Jaguar though. They love the autobahn. Drove a diesel Jaguar (not F-Pace) from Frankfurt to Munich, and it lapped up high speed with reasonable economy for days.

@@amitkar5316 perception is hard to change. The F-Pace is statistically among the most reliable cars of the JLR group. There are many owners, like you who say they've had a good experience. But to improve dramatically from the past, and to have an outstanding model means that there is reliability in isolation. It's when it's compared to other brands and in particular, Japanese brands in particular it's hard to compete. BMW has taken the unreliable position in recent years. Their suvs/crossovers spend lots of time at the BMW dealerships with endless issues and costumers are outraged. Consumer reports state how unreliable the BMW brand has become. Jaguar stepped up their game when they redesigned their brand. Is almost impossible to reject Jaguars position in the present day. That sounds pretty high for a car that cost less than that originally (assuming you mean the base model with few options). I traded a 2016 Macan S with 70k miles and got 30k for it a bit over a year ago.

The 5 year warranty will be required. My experience of JLR products, and I’ve had four to give them a chance, has been shocking. It will leave stranded one day, the electronics will be unreliable and the dealers will rip you off. My Macan is better than the F-type in every department except maybe price. You only get what you pay for folks.
Your Macan doesn't win on looks. Objectively, the F-pace is well known for being extremely sexy and the Porshe something of a squished bug face. I'm sure you disagree but putting the question of exterior styling to a vote, the Macan would always finish quite low. Of course styling is subjective so personally I would say the Macan is the 2nd least attractive here, only besting the Genesis.

It shall be interesting to see how the new Mazda cx50 compares against these vehicles. From what I've seen on overseas previews it's definitely looking the goods
Never drove one but I like how Mazda gives their vehicles some guts, some fun, styling and fantastic paint jobs. Would be the first brand I looked at if I was in that price range.
no offense but i think this is a bias review. lexus, acura, merc, bmw is not even here. it seems like they pick the only the vehicles here that they know jaguar will come out on top.
The GV70 or Q5 (with some more added options than the one shown in the video). The Porsche, although the best car in this segment, is a harsh ride for kids. The Volvo tech is now outdate and the Jag will spend more time in the shop than on the road. I love Volvo but if you can't get the XC90, then there's no point in buying a Volvo.
Is this a Commercial? Anyway, none of these can compare with Macan, Porsche badge, resell value, handling and etc. Also, Macan will go electric in 2024, so this is the last of the year you can buy a Macan with an engine. Think about the residuals when you are going to sell these cars after 2-3 years. Others in this selection are just a joke.

These ICE cars will be replaced by BEV's in 2025. It's ironic to win COTY when so close to it's demise before the full line up of Jaguar BEV's take place.
among the list, Volvo XC60 for me
No Mercedes GLC.?
The jag is on my short list
Its good the jaguar is comfortable ,..because waiting times for the racv ,. can be hours
X3 out sells all of those.
No question you take the Porker.
I tried to order a Genesis but they wouldn't take trade in and refused to finance me a used vehicle!
Genesis is the clear winner
Nah the xc60
@@AAhmad3449 nah the F Pace
lol, the only reason jaguar came out on top is because Volvo already won last year, love my xc60 btw lol
no need to compare I would drive all of them. these are top of food chain
Where’s the Stelvio hands down best suv
Why you guys didn't get BMW in. As European car that can't be missed
Looks like you missed one…. A BMW 🤣
reliability wise I own c class, macan and jag xf.merc is less reliable of them all.spent 2k on it within past 6 months.
Where is the Lexus and BMW?????
Where is range rover Evoque
In the shop being repaired😉😉
Here’s a crazy idea for your media manager...timestamps
Why are some people asking about certain cars like Mercedes and bmw the review is on certain cars and in 2022 sure the best is the f pace facelift people whom name bmw and Mercedes’ omega and Rolex so jag and porche we could name the what Casio 😂jag and porche are more luxurious For the reaibility what’s more than 5 year warranty with full service and maintenance
It shall be interesting to see how the new Mazda cx50 compares against these vehicles. From what I've seen on overseas previews it's definitely looking the goods
Mazda has a long way before being a main stay in luxury.
Never drove one but I like how Mazda gives their vehicles some guts, some fun, styling and fantastic paint jobs. Would be the first brand I looked at if I was in that price range.
where's bmw???..😂
Not available when these cars were tested
A jag 🤣. I’ll rather walk and carry wife plus kids.
Looking at the german magazines, Porsche would be 1st, Audi second, Jag last ... it's always the same...
no offense but i think this is a bias review. lexus, acura, merc, bmw is not even here. it seems like they pick the only the vehicles here that they know jaguar will come out on top.
This is a report for jaguar not compassion. ... Dislike 👎
Anyone here have 2 kids can recommend any of these cars ?
The GV70 or Q5 (with some more added options than the one shown in the video). The Porsche, although the best car in this segment, is a harsh ride for kids. The Volvo tech is now outdate and the Jag will spend more time in the shop than on the road. I love Volvo but if you can't get the XC90, then there's no point in buying a Volvo.
@@kerolusg2218 thanks we are looking at the xc60 ? I think the xc90 is too big ? Could I be wrong ?
@@samanthakay8392 Ya, the XC 60 is a pretty good size for a family and it's a super luxury car. Go for it if you can.
luxury brand without BMW and Mercedes but filled with Volvo and genesis????
Sorry I should have said GLC 300
Is this a Commercial? Anyway, none of these can compare with Macan, Porsche badge, resell value, handling and etc. Also, Macan will go electric in 2024, so this is the last of the year you can buy a Macan with an engine. Think about the residuals when you are going to sell these cars after 2-3 years. Others in this selection are just a joke.
Y?
I just can’t imagine that looks don’t play a part, a few of those cars are just hideous.
If you’re buying in this segment, look up the new Lexus NX range first 🏆
Volvo looks more dated among all
Are you the crazy the gv70 looks hideous the screen is a table slapped on
How can there be no BMW? Seriously? At the very least they out drive the Audi and the Volvo 🤷♂️
How much do ya think Tata Motors paid for this #1 slot?
I hope it was enough to retire on.
Because they now have controlling interest and ownership of your credibility as motoring journalists.
ฉันชอบทุกคันแต่เงินไม่มี 😂😂😂
X3>Macan>Q5>GLC>(XC60,GV70,F-PACE) IMO😂
Pretty accurate in my opinion. The macan is my first choice but that’s due to it being about the same price as the X3 in my country.
Genesis is best
Don’t listen to his BS. Jaguar is heading to extinction. The company only sold 4000 cars this year. Buy an F-Pace and when the company goes bust. You’ll have to rely on aftermarket spare parts. It’s not a fair analysis. iMo
2021 Audi Q5 is the most boring vehicle ever. I HATE this thing,
Great reviewer, but a horrible review! Everyone except the people selecting the winner understand how incredibly unreliable jaguar is.
Horrible stigma
The company sold 4000 cars this year, they are going to go extinct. But they probably dropped a tonne of cash into Drive to produce lopsided segment.
Everyone except people ignorantly decreeing how unreliable the f pace understand how foolish their view is.
can we take a moment to appreciate how the c pillar in hyundai ruins its look
Cars for rich people these ones. None of these is reliable to make 400k miles. And they are expensive to maintain. Yes there people who are lucky to have some of these cars and have been able to make it.
Yawn.... Just vehicles for women who are over compensating for something lacking in their lives.
Jaguar?? Lol. what a joke!! Clicked ‘do not recommend this channel’
What a bunch of jokers!!
Jag rubbish
