To build muscle, you first have to tear it down. Then, you feed it, nurture it, rest and repeat. The healing is what builds it. But, you must endure the pain first. It's the law of the universe. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Balance. The trials and tribulations are as equally necessary as the victories.

The more I get uncomfortable with myself the more I grow. I gain new information about myself that I wouldn’t have learned had I stayed comfortable. There’s so much to learn in the world that you would be doing yourself a disservice of not getting out there and embarrassing yourself so that you can learn and create something unique

I'm 61 years old and got Covid 19 almost 2 years ago. Because of it I had a stroke. So during my first year I got my Master Fitness trainer certification . ( I got 6 certification)
I have run a couple 5k about 10 years ago and I've run off and on since. Last spring I signed up for a 1/2 marathon ,had some set backs but persevered. 3 weeks ago I ran the Hartford CT 1/2 marathon. Cut off time 3:00 hours. I made it at 2:57+. Everything thing Bedros is saying is true. Out out of your comfort zone and don't limit yourself with false thoughts.
If I could run 🏃‍♂️ the 1/2 marathon after having a stroke @ 61 years old, oh I forgot to mention I'm 30-40 pounds overweight.
My motto is Just do Something every day!
P.s. shooting for a full marathon next.

B! Another great episode. My favorite line is “you pick your hard in life”. If you don’t pick the daily discomfort that builds you early on in life, you are guaranteed to face the longer-term soul crushing discomfort that comes with regret, failing relationships, failing body, etc.

My best friend/roommate introduced me to you your program and your videos
I’ve always been mildly in shape, but I became very lazy over the past two or three years this past month I’ve been eating nothing but meat and beans. I’m drinking water every day multiple times a day at least 32 ounces. I’ve dropped 10 pounds. I quit alcohol and I’ve gained almost 6 pounds I think of muscle , I’m working out twice a day. I’m biking I’m walking. I’m training my mind. I have almost completely eliminated all junk intake. I only check social media for the few people. I can only talk to you on there. I appreciate your videos and information.❤❤

This really hit me man, alot of my issues come from me being afraid to make the wrong decisions, it's been a paralyzing fear that's popped up after covid. I legit have the talent, skills, and experience to start my own business and to become a millionaire and I haven't out of being stuck in my comfort zone. I'm unsure of what type of business to run, I'm afraid I'll change my mind again, or become unfocused and inconsistent. Im afraid me wanting to be a millionaire isnt what God wants for me (im christian) im afraid the money with make me evil. I don't trust myself. This video has been very eye opening for me and it's pushing me to look within myself and my fears. Thank you for the work that you do

I’ve been taking many notes and applying them in my life. It’s been extremely helpful and I’m definitely leveling up! Great fun I found your podcast sir! I will continue to comment and share. Not all men have this information taught to them like myself. I was raised by a single mother and grew up around various men raised by the streets whom were emotionally compromised with victim mindsets. This bled into my character and I’m great full that I can purge these weak aspects f myself. Once again thank you sir. Your really dropping that father knowledge!

The hardest part of all my growth after divorce was getting over the fear at the start and then making myself start but once started it was easy. I quit smoking (2 packs of 25 a day twenty years ago) and gained a lot of weight. I could walk a short ways down the block and then would have to rest as I was tired.. so I started running and in the beginning was more of a quick walk and worked my way up to a jog around the block that turned into miles. Then a chose to follow a dream and moved to the mountains and continued to run. There is a trail close by that is 2 klm straight up and 3 down with varying slopes and when I first started it took me almost 2 hours and after two summers of once or twice a week I came within 1.5 minutes of my 1 hour goal. Keep in mind this is a mountain trail with rocks to climb over on the way up and lots of natural obstacles along the way. I’m still trying to break the 1 hour however lockdowns and having Covid for about 6 weeks changed things a bit. I should add that I was 48 when I started tackling that mountain and the ways it strengthened my mind, body and spirit was worth all the discomfort it has given. If your reading this and wondering I’ll just say this, go for it as the only stopping you is you….

I deeply feel that I am called to be something MUCH greater than I currently am, and you have helped me understand that it wasn’t just nonsense in the back of my head, but an actual calling. I listen to a lot of people on youtube, podcasts, audiobooks etc. but never have I found someone who I feel such a connection to even though we haven’t met. It’s like you understand me, and I completely understand you whereas with others I listen to I feel a discrepancy between them and I. I have now watched probably 10 of your videos or so, and you are becoming a mentor for me. Sorry for the essay haha, Thank you so much Bedros.

First, I would like to thank you for your platform and the great perspectives, insights, information and challenges you provide Bedros. I've always been of the mindset that "Perspective Is Power". And how we CHOOSE to look at thing and act upon it changes our results. As you articulated we can look at a challenge as "Suffering" or "Discomfort". What perspective we CHOOSE makes all the difference in our approaches and usually or end results. Love the new show! Craig is great but there something about both of you co-hosting a show that was disjointed. Each of you are easier/better to listen on your own. Thanks for doing these.

Pretty much go into monk mode, but set a plan with timely events so there is no guesswork. That is the best way to build yourself up because you know what is coming.

Discomfort and pain are an intrinsic part of physical life. Suffering is dependent on our perspective. In short: Pain happens, suffering is optional.

Thank you Mr. Keuilian. Greetings from Greece. Would be very interesting if you made a course here, just like the dude from Spartan Race did in Sparta. Greece has mountainous terrain and beautiful landscapes, and many Europeans come here for vacations. I wonder, wouldn't it be awesome if you and your guys could coach Europeans in Greece once every year, or have some kind of a bootcamp here? I mean, for all intended purposes, you could do it in Sparta itself. And then you could easily do high level speeeches on nearby superstart hotels (there are some, where celebrities go for the summer).
