It's literally the hardest to dodge bash in the game, you have to make a guess wether he's going to do the normal bash or delayed, it's like Highlanders kick grab but it's not counteted by half the people in the game and just back rolling.
Vaporwave 420 I think the bash is pretty reactable after they toned down the penalty you get for trying to dodge after switching guards. Of course it’s annoying but it’s definitely not the hardest to dodge in the game; that honor belongs to shaolin. His kick is 233ms considering it tracks you in the beginning of your dodge thanks to latency. Combine that with his 400ms top light, which no other character has, which is only made more powerful considering that he has reflex guard which allows him to consistently feint into it. Sure conq is powerful but he’s definitely not unbeatable, especially for assassins with no dodge delay after guard stance swapping.
Hl one of my favorite can tell you for a fact a conq isn't that hard. Hl is set for conq I didn't see him feint his unblockables into kicks or into a grab. The rush top heavy hold to enter stance then kick.
If it wasn't meant to be used, it wouldn't be put in the game. You gotta do whatever you can to win, this guy lost because of that. (Also he buns but that's another story)

This video highlights so many reasons I fell out of love with for honor... It was set to be my favorite game ever since Bushido Blade. But man, instead of just a cool sword fighting game, it's all about spamming unblockable bashes. Like the fkn swords aren't even dangerous, it's the kicks, grabs, shoulders, headbutts, etc that are the "meta" it's lame lol instead of just... hitting your opponent with your sword.
If you removed mix up moves from the game, the game would be about who gets baited into the others feint first. Conq is unbalanced yes, in fact, he is probably the most broken hero for 1v1. On the other hand just check out characters that have no mix ups like Peacekeeper. She's shit tier at best, and her only realiable move is her zone because of how quick it is and her light soft feints. "Spamming unblockable bashes" is only a good technique with Conq, with any other character, its easy to work around that. On the other hand, people who are toxic are really easy to avoid in this game. Set the chat to team, or even disable it, then if you get a friend request, well, ignore it. If you want a combat with multiple weapons like Katanas, Axes, Swords, lots of different armors, etc, which is basically hitting your opponent with your weapon except for magic, just go and play any Dark Souls game, and try multiplayer. DS3's is still preatty active so have at it. If this still doesnt convince you, well try Chivalry Medieval Warfare. The game couldnt be defined better than "Hitting your opponent with a sword" since combat literally has 3 mechanics, which are "Block" "Light" "Heavy".
Sadly its one of those one in a kind games that are just in the wrong dev's hands. but i still play it because i like the unique gameplay from all the other games

", even if I lose (but I rage when some "light-attacks-spamming" players or the players that 2v1 you, they obviously win and think they are better than you enough to don't even have to say "good fight!")

This one shows the perfection of game balance. Infinite shoulder bashing, highlander switching through his openers like he's overdosed... "The most fairly balanced game on the planet." *Slowly clapping.*
You can "counter" the grab/kick of the HL by backing + light attack with every hero or roll if it's a grab, works 100% if you can read the kick/grab. Shoulder bashing is a pain in the ass, but you have to play slow and GB as much as you can so you can cancel the forward bash. :)

When fighting a conq in a 1v1 your chances of winning are 10 to 100 and conq’s chances are 90 to 100 of winning. Edit: but if they are a conq that is a ganking piece of shit, good fucking luck cause I’M OUT!
But playing against a conq. It’s either dodge and get guard broke or stay and get shield bashed. Or maybe if you’re lucky you might be able to gb the conq after he misses his bash. It’s hard to tell a lot of the time

you've prolly improved as hl but this is the first vid of yours i've seen so something i gotta say; (also for all babylanders out there) defensive heavies throw off your opponents offensive lights, although costly in stam, are good at confusing your opponent double heavies are good for people who spam or just to mix things up considering the second is always hyper-armored crushing counter! celtic curse is pretty good (especially if delayed) don't always go for kick -> grab. once your enemy starts noticing it, go for offensive heavy -> kick, or just a plain old kick. feint! especially feint your defensive heavies and let only a few fly out. be sufe to randomize it. can't stress how important celtic curse is, especially against characters like shaman, berserker, etc- anyone with a good dodge attack, also good against hitokiri. kicks are rarely punishable if whiffed- grabs are. only use your offensive -> grab if you want to confuse your enemy with a new animation, but if it doesn't work, don't try again too soon.
Also to note that they played character that they can 2v1 with. Valk can do a leg sweep and conquer can shield bash. Then Glad can stab your toes but all Bayblade can do is spin around. These two were trolls to begin with

You can "counter" the grab/kick of the HL by backing + light attack with every hero or roll if it's a grab, works 100% if you can read the kick/grab.
Shoulder bashing is a pain in the ass, but you have to play slow and GB as much as you can so you can cancel the forward bash.

Kinda like how glad is completely carried by their zone and is really bad everywhere else, and how cent has a fat zero openers.
@@dogborf7909 dude cent is shit. But the highlander kick to grab is op. If it lands its half of your hp gone and you can never tell if hes going to go for the kick or the kick to grab. They should make it so that it cant track that well or make the grab slower so that it would be reactable or make the free heavie do less dmg.
9553shadow Highlander grab combo is one of its only good things, removing that would make highlander suck.

Fr I’m a rep 8 conq with a 2.2 kd in duels and I never shield bash more then 2-3 times per round that’s it I usually go for punishments

When fighting a conq in a 1v1 your chances of winning are 10 to 100 and conq’s chances are 90 to 100 of winning.

There's a secret move called dodge, most people can do it but some cannot. Some it can help you defeat the most powerful demons ever.
But playing against a conq. It’s either dodge and get guard broke or stay and get shield bashed. Or maybe if you’re lucky you might be able to gb the conq after he misses his bash. It’s hard to tell a lot of the time

I understand why the conq/zerk thought he was god (just by winning a match against an under lvl player smh) but that other guys talking trash and you destroyed him and his bloodline like he’s got no room to talk
people stop saying "just dodge" it's extremely hard to dodge the conq bash...

defensive heavies throw off your opponents
offensive lights, although costly in stam, are good at confusing your opponent
double heavies are good for people who spam or just to mix things up considering the second is always hyper-armored
crushing counter!
celtic curse is pretty good (especially if delayed)
don't always go for kick -> grab. once your enemy starts noticing it, go for offensive heavy -> kick, or just a plain old kick.
feint! especially feint your defensive heavies and let only a few fly out. be sufe to randomize it.
can't stress how important celtic curse is, especially against characters like shaman, berserker, etc- anyone with a good dodge attack, also good against hitokiri.
kicks are rarely punishable if whiffed- grabs are. only use your offensive -> grab if you want to confuse your enemy with a new animation, but if it doesn't work, don't try again too soon.
The problem with Celtic curse delay is the fact that when I try it puts me in offensive instead
