Today is the 391st Birth Anniversary of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the eldest son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. This brave king did everything he could to keep his father's legacy and the Maratha Empire alive. He was an accomplished king who was undefeated in a war, till the very end. When wars could not kill him, he was killed by deceit.
We have several lessons to learn from his life, but most importantly, we need to ask ourselves this question; why is this king and his bravery missing from our history? When will we stop hiding our history from our own people?

I am lucky that I studied in Maharashtra state board, where we had whole history of Shivaji Maharaj as a syllabus in 4th standard. Not like CBSE board where the Mughals are Glorified.

In our school we were taught that who is Aurangzeb,alxender, akhbar&birbal etc. Butt were got taught that who is maharana pratap, shivji maharaj ji, prithvi raj chauhan, raja vikram aditya, sambhaji maharaj.shame no us.😡😡
