As much as I wish your child has the same courage, intellect , mentality and spirit of one of the greatest rulers Mahan Chattrapati Shivaji. I also wish he does not inherit the same fate. The path of a legend is mercilessly brutal. They are shaped with experience normal people will perish at. And as much as we like Shivaji it would be unimaginably terrifying to walk a mile in his shoes. History has proved that no legend reaches the top without violence. The younger generation is always the future the inheritors of our legacy. May god keep him/her safe , keep him/her healthy and may he/she always follow 'dharma'.

My grandmother is a direct descendant of Peshwa, Ballal who are settled in Mangalore. She told me some of the very important story of life and fighting. We’re Hindus , Sikhs or everything because of one man and she told me there’s Ishwar and then there’s CHATRAPATI Shivaji Maharaj. We have temple in our homes and some of the old weapons and his identities are worshipped everyday. Also there’s a promise that if either Ishwar or Maharaj is challenged we’ll come back from around world to fight.
After 350 years of darkest era a very bright light lit in Maharshtra, Shivneri. Jijabai, mother of Shivrai.... when she was 3 months pregnant she lost her father and 3 brothers at the cruelty of Nizamshah just like that. Jijabais womb absorbed the anger with patience. She had cravings not of usual pickle eating but she had unusual cravings like to battle in the battlefield against mughals, to ride a tiger, to climb hills and forts, to sit on gold throne and a white umbrella on her head...giving (daan) to the needy, raise very high flags and listen to the trumpets aloud. During same time Shahaji Raje, her husband rebelled against all mughals and went on capturing Pune. Shahaji sent Jijabai from Daulatabad to Shivneri... it was risky as anyone mughal used to attack anyhow.... imagine in those tough circumstances Jijabai gave birth to Shivaji 😊

Firstly thanks a ton Ranveer for these trilogy. I loved the first two episodes and was even hungrier for the third one but I'm left hungry. It was rushed. I'm not sure if you really are planning more episodes on Shivray but if you do, then you will leave a treasure behind. It's impossible for the general public to gain so much knowledge from these learned speakers and you get a chance. So please don't think about the pace of the episode and give us a lot to hear and learn 🙏

It presents different events of his life in different chapters and is a great beginning point for anyone who doesn't know much about Chhatrapatis life
Once you know the basic story, you can appreciate these podcasts, detailed books more

Firstly thanks a ton Ranveer for these trilogy. I loved the first two episodes and was even hungrier for the third one but I'm left hungry. It was rushed. I'm not sure if you really are planning more episodes on Shivray but if you do, then you will leave a treasure behind. It's impossible for the general public to gain so much knowledge from these learned speakers and you get a chance. So please don't think about the pace of the episode and give us a lot to hear and learn 🙏
