So you can be innocent but if a warrant is issued you can( assuming the officer who issued the warant is not present ofc) for example be charged with a pd gun for 300 months and a 30k fine + all the downsides associated with felony like that and have to go through the appeal process which can take few weeks to schedule etc. only to be found not guilty while serving the time and living with the fine/consequences for few weeks anyway. Unless I'm missing something then that is down right idiotic IMO. Edit: That seems like a textbook guilty until proven innocent to me.
Y’all need a constitutional convention or some shit to really clean out the idiocracy of this city. It’s like everything is done backwards from how it should be done. How they explained the warrant appeal process says they can only go to a bench trial to fight the warrant if the cop who wrote the warrant is on duty, but you aren’t allowed to know who the cop is? Wouldn’t you find out two seconds later who the officer is because they’d have to tell you if they are on duty right now or not which requires you to know the name of the officer to do your due diligence and check to make sure the cops you are working with aren’t lying. Or how do you know a warrant needs judicial review if they aren’t serving you with the warrant(handing you the warrant for you to look over like how it’s supposed to be done IRL)

I’ve seen so many arguments over the pros and cons of voice ID in RP, but it really comes down to this: the only way you interact with someone is through their model and their voice, only one of which can be changed without external effort (voice changers/fake voices) so to take advantage of that is a FailRP and shouldn’t be encouraged even if it’s someone your character would realistically recognize another’s voice under a mask.
So the same judge that approved the warrant is the one that comes and does the review .....reallly.... wouldn't you want another third party to do that

I don't normally even watch Ramee but I seriously feel bad for that streamer. It is damn near impossible to make lawyer RP non-boring yet he seems to pull it off, which CANNOT be easy. The guy puts in all that time and energy to play that role, and even when he cooks to find the mistakes and clear pivot points to get a win (what the fans of the characters want as their entertainment in majority of cases), these new RPer's egos break protocols and rules to shut it all down in ways that would never work IRL and should never work in RP.

@@malcolmmkmk BRUH, MOST of the cop interactions i've seen in the past 2 weeks are with cops that do not know how to RP. Hell, earlier this week 2 cops were snickering over hot mics in an interaction with Ramee where they had no actual evidence, then they went and asked if Ramee was new to the city when the guy had a 23-0 trial record at the time. He's basically the only real lawyer anyone calls and these two didn't even know him yet in character OR OOC.
Shouldn't warrants be approved by a judge before they bring in suspects? This method seems backwards to me.

The police department is completely useless and the justice department has written themselves into every scenario to force people to RP with them because no one did in 3.0. But why would anyone RP with them or take anything to court because they’re fucking morons and they just ruined other peoples RP. Spending 99% of the time in back rooms coming up with more smooth brained wordings for laws and SOP‘s.

It's wild how the sop's are so flawed, the cops involved are unable to act because of DAPs, and the Justice department have basically written rules to provide them RP at everyone else's expense... And all it did was lead to magdump season.

Sorry to say this, but, the problem is people and always has been. Specifically, people outside of the game(plenty of examples I could give like Penta and what not). People letting their ooc feelings infect actual fun and decisions for other people on this server who want to RP because they chose to act like little brats with egos (Ruth). People like that who "appear" to be a nice person on the outside until they create this big of a shit storm and are shown to actually be a cancer to the server starting crazy snowball effects like this that eventually burn people out over time ruining the server. Sorry to say this again, but it is how I feel. Putting WEAK woman (not women alone) but WEAK women in positions of power who are INCLINED to be vindictive and bratty like this has a perfect and sad parallel to exactly what is going on in the real world right now. Repeal the 15th. Remove Ruth. Remove Gatsby. Problem solved and the world AND nopixel can go back to normal. Your welcome. I bet your woke brain won't even let you consider it.

I love how this is a Rp server but some cops and judges argue situations that if RPed correctly they would have to take the loss no law means no law and one has to written a judge would have to go off laws that are there not ones that need to be written its why there's new drugs every year everybody doesn't want to step on other people's toes just get a different captain that enforces laws that are there not what they want even in strictly RP cops want Ruth gone and so do civs but slacks like law

He should appeal to get his DNA removed from the system. Another big question is if he appeals and in the interim gets hit with a bunch of other charges due to the DNA that was taken what would happen? Does he just have to take them and has no recourse? That's a massive issue that I can see occurring soon.
The cops in this server are just so kafkaesque. None of them knows anything useful, and its such a pain to get any information.

The three lines that every police officer repeats it’s constantly: 1) (for any reason/or no reason instead of talking and doing some investigation) i’m detaining and searching you. 2) I wasn’t there/that wasn’t me/I didn’t read that. 3) I don’t know…. (Then a long awkward embarrassing silence when we all sit there seeing them just stand there not knowing how to do their job, and the cop thinks saying “I don’t know” just absolves them of all responsibility).
Honorable mention: stand around and do nothing in the police station.
Also 99% of cops never go off duty and play as a civ version of themselves so they have no clue what anything is like for every single other person in the city. It’s laughably pathetic. Also probably because their RP is dog shit and they don’t have a good ticket, that’s not a police train ticket.
