  • Two heads are better than one, so here is "Gémeaux" (French word for Gemini, which happens to also be my astrological sign).
It is a Tridex printer, which is to say a custom Voron Trident build with Independent Dual EXtruders (IDEX).
For this build I took a stock Trident 350mm build frame kit, and replaced all of the Y extrusions with those from a Trident 250mm build frame kit.
It has a 250mm bed, with Whopping Pochard's kinematic bed mounts.
The toolheads are twin Dragon Burners by Chirpy, combined with E3D Revo Voron hotends with 0.4mm High Flow nozzles and 60W heater cores, JaredC's G2SA extruders, and BigTreeTech EBB36 CAN Bus toolhead PCBs.
For the Z probe, I am using a Cartographer3D, because it works over CAN Bus.
I have applied the inverted electronics bay mod on this printer.
Under the deck we have a Raspberry Pi 3+, a BigTreeTech Octopus Pro, BigTreeTech U2C, a Meanwell LRS-350-24 PSU, and a MeanWell RS-25-5 PSU.
Up front, we have a BigTreeTech Pi TFT50 display.
Rear, Deck and Bottom Panels are ACM, and side and top panels are 3mm Polycarbonate, all from SendCutSend.
The front door is Solar's K3-style door mod, which I purchased from Mandala Rose Works.
Panel clips are from the Annex Engineering Development team.
Too many people to thank for this build, but I want to give a special shoutout to my friend Ryan, who helped me greatly by doing most of the early assembly. Huge thanks also to the good folk on the DoomCube Discord server's #tridex-dev channel, for getting me over the finish line!

man, absolutely incredible. what is happening when the second tool starts to move and the nozzle rubs against something? what is that? i assume the nozzle is priming but more so interested in what its rubbing against.

Attached to the bottom of each XY joint is an arm that supports and holds some silicone wipers and a silicon pad that the nozzle parks on when not in use to reduce oozing.

I had a query regarding trident and Nema 17 leadscrew motors. If these motors are tr8x8 would the bed sag and fall down when powered off ? What’s your leadscrew motor specification ?

Good question! This is my only build with leadscrews for Z, so I can't really answer. These are TR8x4.
