Because Aram reforger is so underrated, it's actually a great game and the Vietnam 67 mod is awesome Charlie
I think BI labeling it a "tech demo" scared people away from it. Most people who refuse to play it simply seem salty about that. For the price tag though its better than anything else on the market. You wont go back to games like Squad or HLL after you try this so it also gets a lot of hate from the die hard fanboys from those games. Its been starting fights in a lot of the Squad discords. Players are migrating to Reforger then asking their clan to open a server on Reforger. Which then causes fights.

@@LyricClock-fo8he Lol same. Its a tight community at the moment. Nam 67 has the game stat option on discord though so people either love or hate me. I average 60-80 kills per match so depending what team you play Im a love or hate player lol. They pretend they dont look at that...but when one team hates you and one team loves you, you kinda know they all do look at that.

Spamming server refresh for 30 minutes then when you can finally try to join the mods do an update and your 30 minutes starts all over again
You should be downloading mods before it gives you the server full screen. Just try to join even though its full and it will set up the mods before. Then instead of spamming refresh spam the join button and escape as soon as the full screen comes up. Do this and youll only need 2-3 minutes max to get into a server.

I get in full servers in like less than 10 minutes everytime. I have a mod update every now and then but other than that nothing
Haven’t watched the video yet but I think one reason the game is booming rn is because of the flopping battlefield series leaving a large portion of players looking for that larger scale play and reforged looks to be “next up”
Also Squads flopped since the ICO. Player count wise its doing ok but theres been a noticeable decline. The main issue is Squads basically devolved into a complete CQC simulator. Outside of vehicle combat its all mass spawn tactics revolving around CQC and

Serious question I’ve been playing this game for a few months, but in the last week, my whole lobby has been muted and I can’t fix it no matter what I do whether it’s reinstalling the game or changing my settings or trying different headsets. Does anyone in the comments, have any ideas?

Is there a little play button on the consoles for servers, on the right hand side of the server icon? If so DON'T use refresh. Best thing to do is select that little play button and back out of it (not the server browser but basically cancel the load) and click it again. Repeat that process because it works much better than refresh.
Is there gps navigation mods as map navigation is ok but also gets tiresome

New Players- watch all the tips and tricks vids on reforger as you can because there's A LOT to learn. It seems nuanced but trust me the amount of new features it's worth doing.

As a console player who first got into dayz on console, i feel that arma reforger would have SO MANY more players if they brought it to PlayStation as well. Been really enjoying it on pc

That would depend on the server, max number is 120 I believe, may be more.

In high hopes they at least bring over a couple of the dlc from arma3 that we can buy if we want to so that we may play a couple of the campaigns and have more factions to choose from and as well weapons ,vehicles and even a couple maps for game master and even maybe have a modern version of the current game modes

I have a problem with ultrawide. it just looks really bad no matter what FOV I set. My eyes are strained and I simply cant play it.

Not difficult really. It's a learning curve. Modern gaming trained us all to click start and start shooting. This game you gotta get dressed, get armed and equipped for the task or tasks at hand and those all very from building up bases to capturing and defending, logistics and troop transports. The advice here is to slow down, take the time to get ready. Then remember 6th grade map traversing skills, and understand the camo differences, find a battle buddy. Then your good to go.

Hello, I'm a game developer myself, and I understand how difficult and challenging it is to create a game, especially considering that I work on my own project. However, what really bothered me about Bohemia Interactive is the abnormal laziness on the part of the developers. Everything you want in the game, you either have to wait for or create a mod for it, and literally, the entire ARMA 2 and ARMA 3 games were made by modders. I know what I'm talking about because I've been playing the Arma series for 15 years. The base versions of the games are like a showcase of what players can do if they mod the games. ACE has essentially made Arma a new game, with various effects for grenades, weapon sounds, I'll just say that one single map has been present throughout the Arma series for 15 years. From the beginning of the Arma 2 series. And that's Chernarus. As far as I'm concerned, at least one map should have been released every two years minimum.
Why is Dayz still alive? Because people add 25-50gb mods to the game and play it that way. Pure 'vanilla' Dayz isn't playable. Unfortunately, I haven't played Reforger, I tried it a little bit, maybe for about 30 minutes. But as I see it again (a friend has the game), when you enter the server, YOU HAVE TO DOWNLOAD MODS AGAIN that the community made.
I'm honestly disappointed, and from my side, Reforger won't be bought until it's $10 or less, and maybe I won't even buy the game at all. Because I don't want to give my money to a developer who sits idle and occasionally adds a slightly better texture and acts like 'wow, a new update is out.' Arma 3 hasn't received any significant updates for 6 years. Creator DLC is the only thing where Arma has received new content.
So, Bohemia might have been working on a new Arma game, but that doesn't mean the old one should be neglected in every aspect. Arma initially got two maps, Altis and Stratis, after that Malden and the incredible map Livonia, which you can only play if you buy the DLC. It's okay, but then again, it's not okay. Because if I've owned the game for so long, I want some variety.
I don't understand how someone can go to work for a year, and absolutely no progress is visible, but okay, they know why and for what reason they pay someone.
All in all, Reforger has come out as a BASE GAME, and the only mechanics and novelties we'll see from the current novelties, if we look at Arma 3, will only be seen when people make mods. Which, in my opinion, is very sad.
That's all from me, it's not any hate towards Bohemia or the Arma series, this is just a realistic assessment of the situation. :)
