Seeing ArmA being played again makes me emotional... this series from ArmA 2 onwards was my childhood man... many of my best friends come from this game.

I wish I did, it seems very intimidating at first but I grew up playing Age of Empires, Rise of Nations, Ghost Recon/Tom Clancy..
The soundscape, especially of gunfire indoors, reminds me so much of Tarkov's Raid series, the resemblance is uncanny.
This is what Tarkov should sound like in my opinion.

The audio in this game is so fucking good and loud! Keep it like that, perhaps some tweaking needed, but seems really really nice and realistic :)
True,i was inside a barn and a fight started. People were shouting but I still couldnt hear them from the echo, we were 2 groups of friendlies killing eachother. Once the shooting started the chaos started too 😂

Been having tons of fun playing this, Reforger is finally coming together. Just wish it was easier to tell uniforms apart. Everyone wears almost the same looking camouflage so it's near impossible to tell who's on your side without constantly looking at the map or getting a good look at their weapons.

Hey brother, dont know if you know this but there is gradual crouching and leaning in this game, i use it a lot and dont see it used very much, you can incrementally crouch/lean with ctrl+scroll wheel, or ctrl+q/e
Can't wait to get this game
This server actually has bullet crack sounds unlike the other seriivka servers, makes it a lot more immersive; been having a lot of fun!
how do i join
Other have same sound. This server now actually has a really long stamina bar, so you see people wearing 60kg packs, sprinting 0-100 mach speed lol. I'm waiting until they fix the stamina, it's too much stamina and it makes it feel arcadey, with the fast run speed, makes it feel like call of duty, and that's not why I bought this game. So therefore the only serv I play on is darkgru #4 realism. I like w.c.s server more before they Introduced the long stamina bar.

They definitely gotta do something about the grass render distance, its kind of important imo. I feel like it should be locked at a very far distance without the ability to change it.

your choice, either you wait what a while or jump in the Reforger bandwagon, but keep in mind that Reforger is not exactly a stable, bug free, polished experience
Hi could you send me a copy of your config.json file I've been trying for weeks to just get my server up with anything on there lol don't care what mission or mods u running I just need server up please
it's cool but the map is like 5 versions away from being good. You should get a Everon server up, Everon is far more feature complete and offers a lot more variety in game play. it's not perfect and some points are either never fought over or lacking but the base conflict layout is far more interesting. You get world spawns for cars which helps if you get stranded or your jeep goes boom. You have more cap points which plays into supply, attrition, and radio coverage being bigger factors. I like the big 128 servers but they make sacrifices to what conflict is trying to achieve on a larger tactical scale.
Also FYI you can mount your gun to window sills (if the glass is broken) as well as many surfaces like fences, railings, and even tree branches. It significantly reduces recoil and scope sway. Would make some of those great shots from the school all that much easier.

Russian side needs some love but otherwise Reforger has been a lot of fun.
1km grass and dont render what cant be seen, like in other games when you try to see in third person
If only someone could make a game with Tarkov’s animations, UI and sound assets, with the scale, vehicles etc of ARMA
I’ll pass on anything to do with sound from tarkov
This is what my dream game would be honestly, tarkov has incredible sound design in general its just hit or miss for tracking footsteps especially in buildings

I’m the gameplay may look enticing but don’t fall for it the admin team love to play god and abuse the power given to them the only reason I can make these statements as I was permabanned for an offense I didn’t commit when I tried to appeal the ban I was ignored by admin so I proceeded to inform everyone on the discord after finally gaining there attention the recommended I make an appeal ticket which I already made they just never responded to . When I voiced that as well that admins are abusive and if someone is going to be banned it should be for an obvious reason the muted and kicked me from there discord .im a big fan of wcs and what they have going but the game master in this case ruin the server experience being completely if looking for a similar experience check out dark grus realism servers there a blast either way enjoy reforger guys and hope u don’t waste time and learn from me about wcs now
