  • Just a few bars of guitar with bass and drums.
Wanted to see how it sat in a mix with a few different sounds.
I only used the brigde pick-up and I'm in dorp-D tuning.

Great performance!!!! I have the Inca Silver version and changed the pickup switch to an original Fender version and ordered the Mint Green pickguard from Harley Benton and replaced the single-ply version. It is amazing. the neck is flawless. No fret sprouts and so smooth.

Thanks! I really like the bridge pickup, but the neck pickup is a tad woolly for my taste. Might swap it out. Other than that it's a great instrument for the price for me.

@@mortygill I raised the neck pick-up to within 2 mm of the strings and it sounds great.

I suggest you put the matching video part and the audio together as many times it's literally not what you did (like no bend etc).

I'd like to hear more from this guitar. You show it's versatility in a rock context, but has it got the "twang" so associated with the instrument? How about a couple of rockabilly and country passages in another video?

That's a great idea, Berni! I might look into that in the near future.

Haha. I noticed that as well. As a musician that must be the dream... become one with the instrument. 😀

      Hi Dennis!
      Thanks for commenting.
Do you have a favorite type of Tele?
I recorded it with a chorus in the beginning and a pretty heavy sound in the last 75% of the recording, Maybe that's what's throwing you of.

@@mortygill Although Telecaster style guitars are used in most genres of music, they are most closely associated with the spanky, twangy tones of Country music, especially the technique known as "Chicken Pickin'". I'm pretty sure that's what the first two commenters are referring to. Great playing though!
