fun fact: in the original story, Polites lived longer than he did in the musical, but had much smaller role, meanwhile in the musical he lived shorter but managed to leave an impact
Some songs in Epic like these two go really well together (and i do recommend listening to each saga in one session for the best expierience) But yes 7 men have fallen including Polites 593 men still standing
@RayGainbows I honestly disagree. Yes, they came into his home and killed his sheep but they didn't know that it was someone's home and sheep and that is no reason to kill people
I think it shows us that sometimes it's really hard to tell who is bad. It all depends on the perspective in that one. I felt bad for both sides of this battle
I LOVE these animatics so much! Thanks for keeping up the reactions! also, I honestly never listen to these two songs separately. Its just one 6 min long song for me 😆But disregarding that... Survive is also one of my top faves.
Yes! These animatics are amazing! And Survive is really high on my list of favourite songs but it's so difficult to listen to it on its own because of how dark it is
Have no fear, Jorge Rivera-Herrans consistently reminds us that Polites is, in fact- dead (Btw, what happened to polyphemus is explained in the beginning of Remember Them)
I can't wait to react to the next song. But I'm guessing we all still hope that he will be somehow alive even though Jorge Rivera-Herrans is telling us something different 😶
Ahh I figured this would hit you hard 😢 it’s a canon event, Polites’ death hurts us all, it’s like the Winion initiation at this point. I hope you watch Remember Them soon, for your own sake; I feel like it balms the pain a tiny bit, or at least helps the audience process it some.
Yes that was really difficult but I know that his death has some purpose in this musical. So at this point I can start calling Winion myself! And yes I will try to react to Remember them as quickly as I can
"It's like they're the monster" 👀👀

Not saying you can relax my friend before the cyclops saga 😢😢😢
Seriously! this hurt all of our feelings. 😅😭
I'm so sorry guys 😶😶 the timing was wrong in that one I have to admit and I hurt also my own feelings 😂

It is so sad that 7 people died because of this conflict. Everything could go so differently. But I know that there must be some sad moments

Sometimes heartbreak and tragedy can make the best stories
I too believe that Polyphemus was the real victim here. Even when my class read the Odyssey in high school, I felt bad for him.

Polyphemus only did what John Wick would have done 🤣

I think I can at least promise you that all winions are going to be okay in this musical. Can not tell the same about anyone else. 😅
Oh thank you for telling me! I couldn't stand it if they would be killed!
I'm so sorry you had to go through that 😭
RIP 90% of the fandom's Favorite Guy😭❤🩹
That was a big big shock :O but I'm so curious in which direction that musical will go. Can't wait to react to the next songs to find out!

Also my friend. Its called the "sigh-claw-ps" saga. Though google says that the Greeks pronounced it like "Keeklawpaas" 🤣
Thanks for clarifying it! Now I will try to remember the correct pronunciation 😂
