    In today’s video, I want to talk to you about the incredible benefits of manuka honey and how you can use it to treat certain illnesses and support the body. Did you know that manuka honey is 4x more nutrient dense than other floral honeys in terms of its healing compounds?
    Manuka honey is beneficial for several reasons:
    1. Improves SIBO
    2. Improves ulcers
    3. Eases and may eliminate allergies
    4. Soothes sore throat
    5. Treats acne or eczema
    6. Used to treat MRSA
    7. Promotes healing of wounds or infections
    Please keep in mind that I recommend consuming manuka honey in moderation. I would suggest consuming no more than 1 tablespoon at a time or 1 teaspoon twice a day. Try using manuka honey or raw local honey and experience the healing benefits! For more information on manuka honey, check out this article: draxe.com/manuk...

    • @missmartamc
      @missmartamc 7 лет назад +32

      proudblackjynx Did I say "2" days? I think not. But it was a short "few" days. She was at risk of losing her finger to MRSA. And what is your reasoning that MRSA would discriminate against infecting a finger? The multiple rx prescribed did nothing while the infection spread. Within 24 hours of our 1st application of Manuka Honey, the swelling decreased drastically and the pain was greatly reduced. In a few days the Dr deemed the infection gone (we had completely stopped the antibiotics the day before we began the Manuka honey). The wound took time to heal, as anyone would expect. proudblackjynx, you may want to read a bit more thoroughly before you attack and call a person a liar! Maybe if you relax and have a cup of tea with Manuka Honey in it, it would heal that mind and mouth.

    I have a hernia in my chest area. I've been. Diagnosed as having duodenitus too. Acid reflux has caused me chest pain for years. I came off my medication Nexium for tests and turned to Manuka 10+ from my local shop. I've been taking it for a few weeks now and I have noticed I have no chest pain at all. I still get very very slight acid but not the chest tearing pain of reflux. I highly recommend 3 teaspoons a day 20 minutes before food and one before bed. It's amazing I get no chest pain. I did before when I came off my med. I also sleep on a foam wedge and take a good bacteria tablet twice a day. This combination works for me.

    I have this real vicious recurring dermatitis on my face (just my luck) for the past couple of months, The moment one breakout heals, another breakout appears else where...a constant back and forth. The steroid cream that I got via a prescription from a previous breakout didn't do anything and I tried everything...zinc oxide, creams for dermatitis, et etc. I heard about the antiseptic and antibacterial properties of honey and did a little research on the web which lead me to raw Manuka honey. I do not use any products base on it as I believe it dilute the effectiveness of the honey itself. I put the raw honey, as is, on the affected area. That place immediately feels better and the comfort last for as long the honey is there...it doesn't evaporate or get absorb like cream does. It actually acted like a seal of sort and the dermatitis finally disappeared. I have to see how effective this is long term, as now when I see my skin breaking out again, I applied the honey and it seem to stop the breakout dead in its track and it started healing immediately.

    Agreed 100% that Manuka from New Zealand IF available would be the best, regardless of anything; if not or if yes, how we would identify without a lab test, eventhough there are clever ways to around it, low quality honey can easily be mixed up with Manuka (pls don't take it literally or no offence), trying to find it out from a layman's perspective since Manuka production in New Zealand can easily be checked out in comparison with the availablity in the supermarkets; wonder if anyhow is there a way to identify Manuka100%, in the container could see any information about Manuka honey100% and with blending with others.

      Aus Manuka is the original and it’s not a Māori name either, the Kiwis took Aus to court this year to trademark Manuka as such in the UK and the case was dismissed in the international court in the UK. Leptospermum Scoparium is the only species of Manuka Tea Tree that produces the active honey with all the benefits Dr Axe is talking about. The NZ honey industry is larger than Australia and their government has gotten behind them for many years unlike the Aus govt and hence their industry is way ahead with things like their trademarked UMF (Unique Manuka Factor) measurement system etc. The two things that are important to know when choosing a Manuka honey is the MGO (Methylglyoxal) levels and the NPA level if there is one available. NPA is the Non-Peroxide Activity and only now is this being looked from a research perspective for its benefits but it’s believed the NPA of a honey is actually as powerful if not more powerful than the MGO in a honey for its healing benefits. Australia has more wild Manuka trees than NZ also and just has to catch up on the marketing side and dispel the NZ Manuka myth the kiwis have been running for many years.
