Materials Used: Hamilton Beach Iron (blue) - amzn.to/3Zm4iqPScotch Blue Painters Tape - amzn.to/3B0RJHiHand Towels - amzn.to/4e4iGbW
Good info, I've done it without puncturing, wet towel on for a few hours and then wring out the wet towel and use the wrung out towel for the iron.
Nice! I’ll try it next time. I probably wouldn’t have done it like this if it wasn’t already ribbed with scratches.
My question is, since yku still have to fill and sand and stain. Is this worth the time.
Would you fill the scratches with some resin, then flat it back after by sanding?
I put some spar urethane over it and let it soak in, then wiped it off. I also used a heated up crayon to fill some of the gaps. But yea, definitely needs a coat of something to protect it!
