Liked the video mate. I'd like to see a video where you can show us novice baitcaster users how you set up your baitcasting reels so there isn't a birds next situation after every cast. Cheers
Lubin, thanks for the handy tips mate 👌 much appreciated and do ya reckon you can send me a tt rod and Komodo reel up for me to try?? Cause you’ve got me hooked 😜haha, Many thanks Evan
With the Lefty's loop knot, you only have to go around the main line once. If you think about the mechanics of it, there is no benefit to going around twice and it makes a smaller knot. For a jam knot in such heavy leader, I just go through the lure eye (or clip), 3 times around the mainline then back through the gap created between the lure eye and the twists, tighten up and done. Smaller knot and leaves the tag facing back towards the lure so it doesn’t catch as much weed. Give it a go 👍
Mate, quality video, been loving watching your stuff, interested in your opinion on a build i want to try next.. chasing big cod on the bidgee and murray with lipless vibes.. Would you reckon a komodo 364 SS paired with a Black Adder 701 be a good pairing in your experience? I notice you use both the black adder and komodo reel but wasnt sure if you had paired them together before... kepe up the quality vids 👌
Hey mate, still get around to building this rod setup and can never seem to get my hands on a komodo reel lately.. What are your thoughts on the Tatula 200HD reel? Does it perform on par with the Okuma 273?
I noticed that the line from the fixed spool was coming from underneath, I've read that the line should be coming from on top of the spool when spooling overheads/baitcasters. I guess with braid you're not going to encounter line memory like with mono so it doesn't matter. Were you aware of this?
Hey Lubin, awesome stuff! Yes, you should definitely do more technical videos! Do you ever tie a loop knot straight to the tremor when using the surface clip, or do you always use the clip?
Great, thanks man. More tech vids please. Appreciate it a lot. Tony from Stanthorpe
I love these kind of videos. Just running through the tackle you use

Many thanks mate! I’ve actually been running a 273 SS with the black adder 701H as a vibe rod for cod, so yep can confirm it pairs well 👌

Hey mate where did you get your spool machine from
Hi Mate, Interested if you know where the Komodo rods are stocked? Tried a heap of places online and they all seem to be sold out.
Cheers
Hey mate, I usually direct people to MO Tackle but sounds like they might be sold out
👍👍👍
