      I've followed My GrandMother's logic since I was a child in the 1970s. She despised almost everything plastic.
      Fresh Picked/KiIIed Raw Food, Silk, Cotton, Wool, Linen, Fur, Rubber, Leather, Steel, Cast Iron, Glass, Copper, Wood, were the ORDER of the day. Nothing FAKE. She said My Parents, Uncles & Aunts was crazy for buying stuff like Tupperware, Polyester, Acrylic, Etc. SHE was RIGHT.
      I would have fit when My Mother made Me wear Polyester clothes or tell Me to drink out of Plastic cups when I was very young. I wanted the fancy Glasses to drink from like My GrandMother. These days I do My best to avoid Plastic/Fake anything. The keyboard I type on is unfortunately PLASTIC. Unlike the steel keys of the old Underwood Typewriter My Mother had I first learned how to type on long time ago.

    I like burdock for a gentle continual food grade detox. And though activated charcoal can be supportive for acute use, it can be damaging as a long turn daily supplement. Where as burdock is full of good nutrients, helps the liver/kidneys in their detox and is full inulin. Inuline is a PREbiotic that's found in many other food sources that gives the probiotics the fuel they need to clean up this place. Cilantro might also be good since it helps the body get rid of heavy metals. You got me thinking. Thanks for the video!!

    It's suggested by some that micro or nanoplastics play a role in feminization of men, particularly in South East Asian countries where low quality plastics are used abundantly as food and beverage containers. It's possible that Inositol hexaphosphate (IP6) may help eliminate some of these compounds that attach to estrogen receptors. More research needed.

    • @Farmergirl7
      @Farmergirl7 7 месяцев назад

      Soy is a culprit in that. Soy contains estrogen. Young children should not have soy. Young girls can develop breasts, etc. earlier and feminizes boys. Soy was banned in foods generations ago in Asia (Japan I think?).

  • @Danielle-zq7kb
    @Danielle-zq7kb 7 месяцев назад +31

    You show many plastic containers and mostly discuss these plastic forms, but the biggest issue is fast fashion and synthetic fibers in clothing and fabric. Your washing machine puts microfibers and microplastics into the water and this makes its way back to you even if you filter your water. Too large for carbon filters and too small for screens that are often made from synthetic fibers. True reverse osmosis might be the best option for pure water, but nanoplastics are ending up everywhere-nanoplastics are physical breakdown products of microplastics.
    Your dryer puts them into the air we breathe.
    The textile mills and clothing sweatshops but the fibers into air and water also.

    Anything in our digestive system is automatically removed from our body in a few days, with or without charcoal. Donating blood is guaranteed to actually remove about 10% of microplastics from your bloodstream, as long as it replenished from clean food. Currently there is no clear evidence for the health benefits of donating blood, so maybe those microplastics are not much of a problem.

    i think you omitted most potent and not just in this area but overall. which is iodine supplementation. and i mean some form of anorganic iodine, chemically produced (i prefer lugol's). not supplement from sea weed or so because they can be polluted with bromides and heavy metals as well...

      @@sl4983 iodine is a little bit tricky. not dangerous but still. i will not tell you how much exactly from many reasons but if you consider it, do some research, use your brain and be careful and rather conservative with your approach when you start. then you will see and you will have to adjust anyway. but i would say, that most of people are deficient in iodine so to saturate body with iodine take some time and during that time it is quite ok. question is when this phase ends and how to continue. there are many different ways how to deal with it and it is also thing of personal preferances, individual needs or so. as for as lugol just start with one drop a day (there may be different concentrations of it though) and eventually build up to 5 and 7 and you will see. if you will increase dosage every week, it is quite time to get there and you will see after. than you can stop, decrease or use it just 3x a week or so. but it may differs from many reasons, so you have to decide. if you have some problems you can stop it or decrease the dose. theoretically there could be some eliminations and changes in your body under influence of incresed iodine levels, so you have to decide if you have problems or just problems are leaving your body so to speak. it is recommended to use high enough intake of vitamine C and selenium for synergy effect. iodine is quite effective to eliminate heavy metals and bromides and other things. they say though that elimination of aluminium starts after quite long time, usually month or so and that higher daily dose of vitamine C is helpfull...

    • @non9886

      remember that body can accumulate iodine so you have to keep in mind that you are moving in some buffer zone. try to stay rather in the middle without high volatility. also when you deal with human body it is always matter of "liquid sands". you should move in cycles. and every cycle could be different as body adapts. hopefully it should be smoother and smoother and you should find your pattern. tricky part is that iodine is generally used two ways by body. as element which is present in every cell. and as part of thyroid hormones. and those hormones are managed indirectly. and as there are more unknowns, when you start iodine (i don't mean initially), increase or decrease doses, it usually changes levels of these hormones. which is not main problem usually but there is some momentum and that's why also discrepancy in regulation of iodine and thyroid hormones which could cause some discomfort. but after some time, some cycles and when you obtain some experiences in this and body will adapt and be generally saturated with iodine you will find a way which suits your needs. it should be some maintnance mod in which you will get enough iodine to body and your hormones should be quite balanced. when you clear your body it will react quite fast on such impulses so you will be guiding your body as some ship, keeping your direction but dealing with waves and wind...
