The trouble with AT is human memory isn't good enough for a perfect game. Scamming yourself out of a full stride on the knights first turn is one such example as the Banners leader would still be alive so you missed adding the +2 to the 5+ command value reducing it to 3+.
That was such a cliff hanger at the end. The knights could have taken the warlord if they had the Opus that round. Another successful 12 inch charge with two knights able to swing in the rear arc then potentially has another turn of combat in the combat phase or if they failed the charge they could have all wrapped round the building for 4 knight attacks in the combat phase.. It would have been really close.
An emergency repair on the Krytos warlord at the start of that turn knowing full well that he was gonna get shot because tracer cloud would have potentially got you a shield back which would have soaked up the first fire. Allowing you to turn and move base to base pushing all the heat and potentially getting to orange on unlucky rolls with a locomotor push and actuator push then pushing for shields you could have gotten enough heat or even better getting another round of shields back in the repair phase before the shooting.
Or all of that could be thwarted by getting a failed machine spirit roll on the first push and sitting there like a potato only to get shived in the ribs.
The possibilities are what make this game so fun :P.
Krytos is great because you don't have to remember a bunch of stupid rules that get in the way of the game. I don't have the issue of forgetting a clutch rule use that could have swung me the game and getting annoyed at myself for essentially throwing the game. I cannot count the amount of times my Mortis playing mate comes up to me at the end of the game and tells me he forgot about his trait that allows for rerolls after killing something.
Besides my only goal in all of my games is blow up the most buildings. Objectives be damned it is the collateral damage of all the civilians in the buildings that counts to myself as a Krytos player.
I love cursed Earth. Even better when both sides use it.

1:14:10 guys that Warlord should have hit both Warhounds, you fall the whole distance regardless of obstacles.
I cant recall as we played this a while ago but I dont think the other warhound was close enough - but I honestly don't fully remember 😅

OK so I looked at the original video - basically its like you said, I said, my titans don't have any critical damage, Troy's warlord had 1 body crit and thus had a reactor leak (+1 heat), and then said not much left on the table, then we did roll off for first player turn 4 where I was indeed shocked that I got first turn! :D
