WHAT an epic game. It is so great that Titanicus can hinge on so many factors, it's not clear who is winning until you add it all up! Such good sportsmanship on this channel, it is always enjoyable to be taken along for the ride 🤓🙏
Cheers bud. Really enjoyed that game. We decided not to measure what units were in quarters etc to make it more exciting. Tony is always a pleasure to play against (as is Steve)
Absolutely love the marbling on the Crucius Reaver. I've only used simply arrows and lines on my own Crucius - terrible experience with marbling attempts before. Kudos!
Great batrep! I think strategem points are bought at time of list construction - you purchased it then. You then play (and expend) the strat. That particular one just so happens to allow itself to return to your hand if it doesnt go off. At least thats how my group plays it! Could be wrong.
Totally agree the strat returns to the hand like it says but now you have a hand do you need to spend another strat point to reuse? If you see my angle?
That's cool. I can run either way with it. It just occurred to me at the time with a hand of multiple strats you get to use the card again but do you have to spend another point?
@@Tabletop_Standard and it might shake out that way when the FAQ it, but since you asked for opinions this how I'm thinking it. And it's totally an err on the side of your opponents experience thing- the strats were originally more reliable to get off in some ways, never rolling a one for effect. The points system shouldn't make that a penalty imho
Yep, I'd concur. You pay the point for the strat to go off. Either refund the point if it fails, or have it 'floating' and able to play it in subsequent round having paid for it already.
Our pleasure. So I use Counterattackbases.co.uk for the shield and quake etc and the flame blast markers are ebay, just search blast markers and or acrylic blast markers
Guys, got some thoughts. I see that in earliest report, neither in latest you never show control panels of titans. As for me it will be really interesting to see how the godly machine cripples, from top to death. Especially when you are counting damage. Maybe not every time, but at least when devastating/critical/death it will interesting to count with you (and maybe even find some mistakes and it will create more space for comments as the result :) ) damage on a panel and this will in general help to understand how the things are going. All this time you are just showing table (or even dice box in early reports). Just a proposition, thanks)
It's been a conscious decision just keep video run time down and focus on the action. We also use terminals on an app so we rarely have card terminals out to pan the the camera over. Its just a massive space saver.
Hi Monica. They are from our friends at the Battlebling store, but they seem to be an older design I can't find them anymore. I think they have been replaced with this version battleblingstore.co.uk/products/quad-rotary-cannon-compatible-adeptus-titanicus-reaver-titans
Hi guys, you've misread Strat Hands. You dont have X points to choose a hand from, you have Y cards to choose and from those you have X points to spend. You can legitimately take 6 3point Strats for a 1750 game, even though it would be dumb to do.
Hi King, we know 😁.. Didn't realise we had conveyed it any other way? As far as I know we took 6 strats each for a confrontation size game of various point values. And had 5 points to spend in game 🤷🏼♂️
As for the Mines, here is my thoughts: The point is spent. Playing the card again does NOT cost an extra point. Failing to play it again (game ends, roll another 1, forget, etc) would not refund the point and, for example, let you play a Tertiary with that point.
@@Tabletop_Standard I agreethis way is the most fair, as the point is not lost, but the opponent knows that the Mines are waiting for a future movement, and the user cannot swap out to something else.
GW still reprints the starter set regularly, and the old Maniple boxes have been announced for LIMP. Let´s hope it survives the way Epic did for so long. Did you say solo modes? Where? Are they good?

Great to see you doing battle reports again, keep up the great work!

Tony nailed it. Have you seen the wet wipe and airbrush technique?
Great batrep! The markers help a lot to see who’s in the orange and red too. I like it.
Showing the terminals just isn't practical so glad this helps :)
fantastic fight! thankyou for filming these.
Cheers bud. To the wire ay
Glad to see you guys back at it
Cheers bud. We're around 😁
Great batrep! Well played, both of you!
Cheers buddy
AWW YEAH.
Will be watching this later!
Hope you enjoy it 🙂
Yay! Welcome back.
Thanks! 😁

@@Tabletop_Standard I do. I hadnt thought of it that way before. Definitely would benefit from clarification.
I think the intent is you don’t have to spend another point to use it. It’s just delayed until u make the successful roll.
Has this been answered/changed? Do you spend your strat points when list building?
Finally got round to this. Great batrep guys! Meltas are here purely to punish their user. Always the hardest 3+ to roll.
The rule of Melta. Glad you enjoyed it bud (p.s shoukd have different background music in the next vid )😄
Can’t wait till later !! We’ve got it on while cooking dinner 🍽️ 🎲
Bon appetite 😁🤌
Yay more Titanicus!!! Do any of your crew play aeronautica because you guys would make awesome batreps for that too!!!
We may have the AI HH book multiple aircraft and a few brand new mats for AI 😏
@@Tabletop_Standard nice!
@@tompayne4945 it's coming
I'd say because the strat predates the points system in match play, you don't expend the point.

What app do you guys use to track your titans?
Titerminal on android 👍🏻
May one ask the app that you used during the play as command template ?
Titerminal on play store bud
Great video, where did the rocky terrain come from?
They are an older set from Gamemat.eu
Are the 'mini/chain guns on the Reaver and Warbringer for Legio Krytos an STL file / Aftermarket part available or just a dope as conversion?
Hi Monica. They are from our friends at the Battlebling store, but they seem to be an older design I can't find them anymore. I think they have been replaced with this version
battleblingstore.co.uk/products/quad-rotary-cannon-compatible-adeptus-titanicus-reaver-titans

Titerminal on app store. With optional tabletop_standard background 😏

@Tabletop_Standard maybe I missed it as watching on phone screen but it looked like Tony only had 5 total cards lol
@The King Elessar It appears I missed out experimental locos whilst editing 😅 I'll have to add it to the description 😊
Was there not a bat rep with nothing but knights ?
On our Patreon we have a Knight vs Knight AT game and Epic 30k (we played the shield rules so badly we only published on patreon ref the epic game)
Do you remember where you got that landing pad ?
I do believe it was from vanguardminiatures.co.uk

The game system is amazing but too bad this gaming system is dead in most markets

@@Tabletop_Standard Im considering getting it and using it with some solo modes I found.
