Looks like you had a great time away, nice pubs and scenery, nice update and interesting re the weights. You could always store the caravan spare wheel in the car boot when towing, only problem with the seal and inflate is it totals the tyre so a puncture repair isn’t an option after using. Thanks both 😀😀
Hi Tristan, thanks for your comment, yes we had a great time and want to go back again asap. I think the more familiar we get with a place, the more we like it.
Yes I'll bare that in mind with the spare wheel. We put it in the car on the way back, along with everything else which was fine, weighted the nose when we got back and that was on too.
Glad to see you had a nice time away! Lots of nice food and drink, the sign of a good time away. I found it interesting regarding the weight of the caravan, it makes me want to get out D4-4 weighed as we often carry bikes on the front of ours. I think we'll find a local weigh bridge and give it a whirl 😊 great video!

Yes I recommend getting acquainted with a local weigh-bridge, especially with these light weight caravans - it's so easy to go over weight.

I'd have less stick out of the jockey wheel when moving the caravan, it's very easy to bend the inner tubing if you hit a rut :)
Hi thanks for watching & your comment - I'll bare that in mind, the reason I do it that way round is because when we had the Civic (a slightly lower car), I found that was the best position to clear the slope at the start of our driveway when towing it out.

In my running days I did the Oxford half marathon twice
1st time it went through the Mini plant at Cowley and 2nd time it did a lap of Iffley road running track from Chariots of Fire fame
