i like how Santana may act like she just loves insulting everyone, but its so sweet how she secretly loves the glee club and everyone in it, she protects Kurt, she sings/nearly fights Sebastian for Blaine, she cries for and loved Finn, she helps out Rachel when she has a pregnancy scare. what great acting and directing in this scene! you can tell Santana is smooth and confident and being herself but enjoying it and rising to the challenge. Sebastian flickers between confidence and insecurity. He follows Santana’s lead the majority of the time through his body, his face, his eyes, his voice even. He also enjoys the competition. But he has moments of doubt and being unsure and tries to paper over them with his confidence and sass and smirks. And they both have moments of ferocity. Just great how there’s lots of layers given to these two sassy confident characters in their sole duet
