Both the Atari 2600 and Lynx had the 6507 processor as their main processor. This was an 8-bit processor clocked at 1.17 MHz. But the Lynx had a 16-bit auxiliary video processor (just like the pc engine). Not to mention other components such as memory, sound chips, etc.
