I'd brown the sausage first that way there's fat for searing the other meats. And it's a good idea to render all the fat from the sausage so you don't get a watery, greasy sauce.
Looks delicious. But we use beef for brasciolle plus inside stuffing is fresh garlic slices not powder, raisins, grated pecorino romano cheese, parsley, and black pepper. cook sausage in oven to brown to get the fat out then add to sauce. meatballs look great we make it similar except no onion and use beef only. i know traditional is beef, pork and veal. the best part is simmering for 1-2 hours the meats after browned in the sauce, but we never use jar sauce!
Please let me know if there is a dinner special at Vincent's on mott st for 50.00 $ that I believe I have read recently or could be much more for one please let me know if so. And what it is.please get back to me ...a srex nqire...thank you.please responded to me......
Mengia..... You’s make it sound like you also would put brown gravy on your spaghetti when in fact you really should put sauce not gravy....Remember it’s not gravy it’s sauce have some respect mama Mia

That is for sure....
Too much salt in the meatballs with the pecorino. Also needs the veal for tenderness. Beef, veal and pork. The pork is the flavor
Vito would love this piece of meat
O yeah

When you add the meat to your tomato sauce it's then called gravy ok don't make me repeat myself lol
A true Sicilian family man would never ever say Gravy...it’s always called Sauce...Capechi
AJ Caronia it's Gravy
It doesn't really matter when different southern italian immigrants came to the U.S some of them translated "Sugo" sauce in italian to gravy
