    That's interesting, I actually came to see Damage Per Energy, however even in that regard it would seem beam emitters are better. As it took half your battery with cannons, and only a few bars with beam emitters.

      Too bad I already spent all my Zonai charges on cannons, even the big ones...

    Looking forward to the wealth of incoming Barrusu videos in this type of format. Short sweet. Educational and entertaining!
    Just need to hurry up and do some anti spoiling for my self. that amount of batteries you got there is ridiculous.

      Love your work on the games I'm interested in. Found ya year ago since you're a pro SnS Player :)
      Thanks for everything looking forward to more.

      Agreed, and same to your MonHun content as well.
      Real quality stuff in the sea of absolutely soulless "TOP 15 THINGS YOU NEED TO DO IN TOTK" that just clogs up the search results.

    Since zonai devices can damage you too, I did some testing to figure out the exact numbers.
    Beam Emitters deal 12 damage (1 damage = 1 quarter heart without armor) per tick, and have one tick every 2 seconds if you are standing still, so a DPS of 6
    Canons deals 18 damage per hit, with 0.32 shots per second for a DPS of 5.76
    Quite strong, but for the highest damage possible, you should build a spinning machine with the Gemimik parts, and attatch your strongest weapons. Weapons can be summoned in with autobuild for only 3 zonite!

    I wish we could put cannons out of phase to have them constantly firing but beam emitter is way better anyway

    Anyone watching this later, if you want a drone I suggest one cannon to hit multiple enemies, however many beams you feel comfortable with, and at least 1 frost emitter as whatever breaks that frozen state deals double damage, I doubt its as efficient as more beams but it can help guarantee a stunlock as the shatter also knocks down
    My personal setup is 2 frost emitters on either side of a homing cart to freeze whatever is in front, and 1 cannon and 2 beams on a construct head placed up top
    Shock emitters won't help much as the enemy tends to get ragdolled away too much

    Beam is superior in every category except armor break. Even in aoe, the cannon will make enemy flying and lose dps and energy.

      AOE and armor. Cannons are also better at alpha strike. If you use 19 cannons on a construct head on a floatstone, it will do way more damage in that first volley than the beam emitters will do in the same time. It's the reload speed that lets beams out dps them

    what is the dps of emitters compared to weapons?
    Are devices still good in the end game, or more so frost emitters to increase your own dps?

    • @AutistiCat2406
      @AutistiCat2406 Год назад

      Devices stay helpful in the end game, even more so than before because having max battery helps a lot with uptime
      They're best used as a supplementary damage source, either from a drone or perhaps a hover stone that can hit bosses from outside the range they can destroy it
      Melee will do more damage per second especially with attack boosts but that's irrelevant because you can usually stack both anyway and if you want max dps you just spam arrows which do the highest dps and can clear crowds with bombs or gems/dragon parts attached

    Does number of beam emitters matter?

    • @chaincat33
      @chaincat33 Год назад +1

      yes. Each beam is its own unique hitbox. While a given beam can't hit continually, the s are only to that beam, so each beam triggers its own independent s.

      @aldoushuxley5953 Год назад

      @@chaincat33 Can you achieve higher DPS by rotating or moving the beam emitters (moving their hit box in and out quickly)?

      @@aldoushuxley5953from what I can, that doesn't work (the I-frames seem to stick around even if the laser stops hitting a target)
      But something that does seem to work is turning the laser on and off quickly enough. Saw a short that used two construct heads in order to do this mostly to reduce energy consumption, but I think it might be possible to increase dps with this too (though I haven't found a way to make it work consistently yet)
