Well done them for representing the UK so well in America, Bravo guys.
After bigging them up for 20mins you had to say they were good! The kitchen area looked super clean tho.......Banging Fishes and Chippies!
Lee, another plus for The Chippy is that I noticed on your receipt that they don’t charge for ‘scraps’. I’m aware that in the past in the UK, scraps were usually free but I understand that a lot of fish & chip shops now charge for scraps. Solid 10/10. Condolences to Kelly, such sad news.
Lol, when you were like “there’s a story, about that phone box”, the guy starts saying yeah so they all have a serial number so you can trace them back to which street they come from, then ended the story. Was expecting him to say where they traced it from, cracked up, we were sat here watching like “what?” 😂

The "secret" ingredient is probably Drywite. It just keeps the chips from going brown until they are ready to be cooked. Food looked nice but expensive.
I tried "fresh" chips packaged in plastic that contained drywhite, if you over order or you have a drop in sales.. the smell coming out of the 5 kilo bags ws pretty unpleasant!
They have such lovely staff that gets a mark for starters. Lovely to see Kelly again too. It was a proper family affair!! Hearing that Yorkshire accent so far away from home is a delight to the earlobes.
A Guiness and a chippy-what a treat!! Plus a red telephone box!! The football scarf’s, the shop next door, a fab behind the scenes footage, bloody brilliant. This is a real cultural treat for any American. My favourite Florida video!! You saved the best until last.
The chips looked spot on. Golden and thick with potato. I’m having a chippy tonight!! That young lass was more natural than most Emmerdale actors by the way!!😂.
I always have ketchup instead of curry sauce. I also prefer a crusty piece of bread with a knob of butter!! The fish looked delicious I must say!! Plenty of filling and crispy batter.
11/10 all the way!! A touching memorial at the end. This was in your top 3 ever videos in my opinion.

What a great guy who owns both the chippy and cafe they seem a real nice family run business. That fish look absolutely exquisite and the chips just like back home. British building in Epcot used to do a decent bit of cod. Most US fish and chips only have cod that I have seen. No skate or plaice.
A great feed of fish and chips there. Fish looked great, batter, flesh spot on. Chips a work of art, made from scratch. Curry Sauce and peas looked good. I could not fault it. A 10 from me.

We had a chippy in Fulham in the 70s and 80s who cooked in beef dripping ,and also in the 90s in Mosely Surrey both where Greek owned , best ever 👍🏼

This is definitely the best vlog you've done in America. You were the happiest I've seen you with the food and it certainly looked delicious all the way down to the tail. That's an eatery I'd love to eat in. Would love to shop next door for authentic British food too. Regarding the Chippy... That's more like it!
Can't give that meal nothing but 10/10! A bit steep on price, but that's the US at the moment. Would happily pay that, and more, for the quality of ingredients, lovely owners and staff, and all-round joy in what they do. The pub next door too! Brilliant!
These sort of places are a real taste of home for expats. I'm in Oz at moment, and you have to go far and wide to find a 'proper' chippy.
Get to a few chippies in Lancs🌹... much better than Yorkie chippies. 🙂
One of the best vlogs from the US great viewing loved it fish and chips with non condiment vinegar and you did not moan about the cost must have been well worth it .

We had fish,chips,mushy peas and curry sauce.It was so good.We also bought 9 frozen pies to take home.Definitely recommend it..

Looks lovely and good see they're using traditional wooden chippy forks and not those awful plastic one's. I'd love to know if they do chip shop gravy like the UK, I love chippy gravy on a battered burger. Lee, you'll have to go back to find out I think.

Great idea for a town like Orlando where obviously the many visitors from Blighty go there for “ holiday (Vacation) I just don’t think it would work in NJ, but maybe NYC it would. Very sorry to hear of the loss of a loved one.
The food looked really good and the staff seemed great fun. When i have travelled and just happened across a British Cafe or Chippy its always a super fun experience to go in and get a reminder of home together with the good weather (hopefully) and all round fun of a foreign holiday.
Whenever ive chatted to brits in overseas chippies they are usually grafting their legs off and dont get much sun most days - but good on them for dishing out a little piece of the UK in another country. Onwards.

It looked very nice but personally the regular fish and chips would be my choice seeing as the foot long fish and chips was $10 more or almost double the cost of the regular sized fish and chips but not double the size. Jimmy, well done for preparing the potatoes properly, no skins or eyes. So many places now cant be bothered.
