Rainbow High Collection Update ~ I Sold Some Dolls! ~ Downsizing and Decluttering

- Recently, I have been looking around my room and realizing that it feels cluttered to the point that I can’t enjoy some collections and that it feels intimidating to clean. So I am tailoring some of my collections down a bit to my favorites. So I recently sold 11 rainbow high/ shadow high dolls. Thanks for watching!

Aw, that's so sweet! My son looked at my rainbow high house the other day, and he said it looks better. So that's good to hear. It looks less cluttered, so it's easier to see and enjoy everything :))
I sold dolls that longer spark joy as they once did. I was fortunate to sell a good majority of dolls at a doll show and also selling dolls to place that buys different variety of toys such as dolls. Just to cut down my doll collection. I think it rather healthy to cut down a doll if needed to free some space and get some money while in the process cutting down on the collection.
That's so awesome that you had those local resources for selling dolls! I sold mine online and then had to worry about packaging and shipping. But I think it is wonderful being able to downsize and get some money back from it. I am definitely enjoying my rainbow high house so much more now 💖💕 But I should look into local stores as well, that's a good idea!

Thanks! That's wonderful to hear. It's always a big decision. But I am really happy about it! I still have more items to sell. So there are still more big decisions ahead 😅
I'm currently in the process of selling some dolls from my collection that don't speak to me anymore. I personally like to have all of my dolls on display, as long as they are display worthy.
I feel this way as well. I think partly I lack the storage space to rotate dolls. And the dolls I mega love, I wouldn't want to put away. So if I am storing a doll, I probably don't love it, and I should just rehome the doll. I think it's cool collections that rotate, it just wouldn't work for me...
I sell dolls that don’t longer speak to me in my collection to make room and money for new, of course I have my forever ones but think it’s good to keep validating your dolls as like you said it can become so overwhelming 🫶🥰❤
It's definitely a wonderful hobby that it's possible to sell dolls you have in order to help fund new dolls! And there are quite a few dolls in my collection that I would never sell. I love that term "forever dolls." 🥰
