This along with Brandon Tenold are my 2 favorite tv/movie youtube channels, they both deserve way more subs. Same goes for Bennet the Sage and his anime related RUclips channel
Remember when even bad movies had great posters and covers? Even the biggest budget movies today have posters that look like they were made by a first year graphic design student
good bad flicks, your videos are very entertaining. you provide a good blend of comedy and narrative. a thousand times better than cinema sins. keep up the awesome work.
Wow after all these reviews and hearing about the 80's it sounds like such a great decade. Makes me wish I was born then, of course I think and remember I was born in 83 and realize that it is just one more reason the 80's is the greatest decade.
The burning pot field reminded me of when I was a kid and some of my local sheriffs busted a sizable marijuana grow. Apparently some of them thought it'd be a great idea to take all the pot plants out into a field and destroy them by setting them on fire...which led to half of everyone on the main drag getting moderately baked when the wind shifted. Not the county sheriff's office's proudest moment...
The town still celibates the pot field every year with their annual’ Film Here for Free’ festival. Only clause is that you have to burn the field and bring a truck load of Twinkies and vanilla pudding.
This seems like it was capitalizing on Uncommon Valor. You’ve got the big bearded Sailor analogue, and you’ve got the Blaster stand in who gets blown up on the dam/ bridge.
This video was worth watching just to find out Terrence O'Hara was an actor. I think he directed at least one episode of The Equalizer as well (maybe "Memories of Manon").
The best way to destroy a field of marijuana is... Burn it up, of course! Lol I love that scene in the movie because it reminds me of the SOP of every law enforcement agency when it came to the handling/destruction of large patches of unharvested crops of marijuana (i think that this practice was slowly phased out starting in the 90's). Lol Gotta love irrational solutions to something as benign as pot!!! ;-)
I remember reading about how a bunch of Canadian soldiers during the War in Afghanistan were doing exactly that, and they ended up having to pull the entire platoon back because they were all starting to get contact highs.
back in thee 80s, a mid-60s ford mustang was considered a old unappealing car. It would be similar to how we view a 90s mustang today, noting special just an old car
I remember you could get one that runs but needed work for around $2500 in the 80s. According to an online inflation calculator, that would be just over $5700 in 2017.
I think Katt Shea studios is in Studio City CA- Although the Santa Clarita studios is an up and coming substitute :) so maybe? im no authority for sure
There is seriously so many of these "The" movies I get mixed up...There is this, the Executioner, and my favorite VHS artwork, THE DESTROYER (seriously go look it up)...then there is the Mutilator...
wow this is confusing, so this movie IS called destroyer in the trailer, but the destroyer I am talking about is from 1988 and is also called "shadow of death" WHY IS THIS SO CONFUSING
Decon’s car changed from a ‘65 Mustang to a ‘67. This is evident by the tail lights and side chrome. So when Ox burned the Weed field people were mad because they blew up the only gas/convenience store with the only funions and slim Jim’s in town. He probably had a military pension to pay for his apartment. The first Mustang was a ‘65 that he probably had from his Vietnam deployment. As for a pot dealer assembling an army?, he’s a grower not a shower.
Me and my brother used to call these type of films "home madies" because they looked like they were made at home in someones back garden. I'm pretty certain it was called The Destroyers here.
Ok when you talk about Deathstalker in one of these videos you force me to comment where is the exploring Deathstalker 3, and yes 4? Lol I feel you have forced my hand sir. Love the video so you still get the like.
The destruction of the Gas Station was probably paid for by Coke :P Imagine being in the air stream of all that weed hahaha. At 7:58 you can see what looks like a battery from a toy helicopter.
Is that the one where James Remar goes to the small town where his girlfriend came from and teams with her brother to take down a drug ring? That was the movie I thought of watching this video.
Why is the movie called the Devastator? Who is this person? The main character...? Deak? But like you said: the plot makes very little sense. It's all about the action and blowing stuff up. Like any good action movie :)
80s action movies rocked and this was one of the good ones. Cirio Santiago was a king.
Wow, I had no idea Katt Shea was a model and an actress! That's the kind of stuff I love to learn on here. And great vid!
Best Channel on RUclips!
This along with Brandon Tenold are my 2 favorite tv/movie youtube channels, they both deserve way more subs. Same goes for Bennet the Sage and his anime related RUclips channel
@GENERAL DISARRAY'S BOSS 83 I did. I dont know how I messed that up because I watch one of his videos every couple days
You had me at "directed by Cirio H. Santiago."
man, i love crappy films that have awesome painted vhs artwork
edgar velasco
Marketing!
Remember when even bad movies had great posters and covers? Even the biggest budget movies today have posters that look like they were made by a first year graphic design student
In the 80’s that was practically ALL of them. Real work went into every movie poster, no matter how lousy it was.
GoodbadFlicks: asking the important questions
80`s action movies had the best tag lines!
good bad flicks, your videos are very entertaining. you provide a good blend of comedy and narrative. a thousand times better than cinema sins. keep up the awesome work.
I love the digressions you do at the end
10:08 That cover is just awesome!
The best part of waking up is dirty trash in your cup.
sing to the tune of Folger's mind you that Shiite pretty much IS TRASH!!
Wow after all these reviews and hearing about the 80's it sounds like such a great decade. Makes me wish I was born then, of course I think and remember I was born in 83 and realize that it is just one more reason the 80's is the greatest decade.
Trippin' over those enormous red/blue police lights on the Sheriff's ride!! Never have I seen light that size, even on cars from the 70's.
"He shoots him super dead!"
There's only one thing you can do then. Go through their pockets for loose change.
The lead actor looks like the love child of Peter Weller and the killer from Silent Rage.
If the trailer calls it "the destroyer", but the movie is called "the devastator", can't we just call this movie "the devastating destroyer"?
your machete like wit devastates me!!
"they blew up my car... while I was still in it."
"Lucky for him, it was just a model of the dam." 😂
am i the only one that wants to see Cecil do full length commentaries?
CthulhuChow Nope. You're not. :)
I'd like to see scripted commentaries.
These are great

Not the county sheriff's office's proudest moment...
One minute in and am lmao.... most underrated channel on youtube
This really reminds me of New Line's "Quiet Cool", which was also released in 1986. The story line is almost the same even!!
0:40 * *insert Brandon Tenold's "DECAPITATIOOOOON!!" gag* *
You gotta do Samurai Cop. It's amazing!!! It's just non-stop WTF!?!?! and sooo funny.
The town still celibates the pot field every year with their annual’ Film Here for Free’ festival.
Only clause is that you have to burn the field and bring a truck load of Twinkies and vanilla pudding.
I gotta find this film. It looks like a blast.
Great video as always! I'd love to hear your thoughts on the Tom Jane Punisher some day as well as War Zone
Oh man when he stabs that guy through the mouth and he hits opera notes in Punisher I cry tears of joy.
War Zone was quite good. Punisher (2004) not so much.
yay a new review!
Lightning always classes up those slo-mo sex scenes! Lightning makes anything seem like it's good enough for a poke. Get your poke on!
This seems like it was capitalizing on Uncommon Valor. You’ve got the big bearded Sailor analogue, and you’ve got the Blaster stand in who gets blown up on the dam/ bridge.
Fine job once again Cecil I would to give this one a shot sometime?
4:50, nice editing
The Mustang switches back and forth from a 64.5 or 65 V8 car to what looks like a 67 6 cylinder car. For what it's worth.
This video was worth watching just to find out Terrence O'Hara was an actor. I think he directed at least one episode of The Equalizer as well (maybe "Memories of Manon").
Yoo you gotta do Silk next, that looks great.
"Lightning makes it classy!" lol
The best way to destroy a field of marijuana is... Burn it up, of course! Lol
I love that scene in the movie because it reminds me of the SOP of every law enforcement agency when it came to the handling/destruction of large patches of unharvested crops of marijuana (i think that this practice was slowly phased out starting in the 90's).

I remember reading about how a bunch of Canadian soldiers during the War in Afghanistan were doing exactly that, and they ended up having to pull the entire platoon back because they were all starting to get contact highs.
My older brother had that exact car. It was sweet.
I hope they do death race 2050 next
Michelle Hernandez wasnt that a comic book
Machete Maidens Unleashed is a great documentary and a must see for every hardcore cinema fan
Grimm was such a great show. Poison Ivy was a good movie.
The guy who strangles his girlfriend in excitement of weed is also in Blood Debts another Filipino movie that wants to be an American action film.
back in thee 80s, a mid-60s ford mustang was considered a old unappealing car. It would be similar to how we view a 90s mustang today, noting special just an old car
Eh, to me a 90's mustang is probably the most unappealing design of all the Mustangs. I'd doubt it'd be recognized in the later years but who know.s
Joshua D'Amato As someone who lived through the 80s, you are 100% WRONG man.
I seem to remember the '65 Mustang always being considered a classic.
I remember you could get one that runs but needed work for around $2500 in the 80s. According to an online inflation calculator, that would be just over $5700 in 2017.
LOL The lead guy looks like Sean William Scott. :D
Streets was awesome but it's so hard to find now
lol I had to watch that truck blow up a few times at 6:13 just to see the truck's logo come flying off the side
Funny how the Philippines used to be a staple cheap alternative to shooting these sets back then. Many of these scenes are from Baguio City. Lol
Oh you always gotta have sweet coffee, no question lol
I think Katt Shea studios is in Studio City CA- Although the Santa Clarita studios is an up and coming substitute :) so maybe? im no authority for sure
Is the sheriff from night of the creeps? Night of the creeps is a great movie!
2:23 - A perfect crime with no witnesses... ah heck!
You need to check out “Fast Gun”.
can you please do Ice Pirates or Nemisis oooh or Spacehunter.
Decon’s car changed from a ‘65 Mustang to a ‘67. This is evident by the tail lights and side chrome. So when Ox burned the Weed field people were mad because they blew up the only gas/convenience store with the only funions and slim Jim’s in town.

As for a pot dealer assembling an army?, he’s a grower not a shower.
What a devastating review! =D.......I will go now.
You have to admit... my man has a great vynil record set up... ( 0:58) Hahahahaha
At 2:35 you see the face of an extra who has been shooting for hours, and was just been told to take another swig of his flat, room temperature beer.
6:13 is when you blow a van's signage of its shell!
LMAO! Fuuuuriously!
2:34
I review so many low budget movies, just to find out that you already have
How about Iron Eagle
I doubt you’ll see this, Cecil. But why don’t you do play by play on all your videos? Your narration and humor are great!
Thanks! Because some movies I like to talk seriously about.
Are you planning to do a video for "Dune Warriors" as well? I'm curious to see what you think.
Damn, so sad Ox died :/
The destruction of the Gas Station was probably paid for by Coke :P
Imagine being in the air stream of all that weed hahaha.
At 7:58 you can see what looks like a battery from a toy helicopter.
Yah!! Saw Machete Maidens Unleashed and it was great!!
The thing about the cars is true you could buy muscle and pony cars really cheap in the 80s.
Is this out on DVD & Blu-Ray?
Yep, on both
Need to review STREETS just have to
Was that...ROWSDOWER? :D
Cecil, 6:03 needs a hip-hop horn.
Is that the 49ers in long beach? Small world
You know a movie is messed up, when they use a Dodge Vailant as a police car...
I only got to the part where the gramma pot farmer kills them saying no-one likes a snitch
9:22 Shes the director of Carrie 2
1:13 believe it or not, 60’s mustangs went for @ $1000 as late as the early 90’s. I should know... that’s what it cost me.
I don't know why but this video made me think of Samurai Cop
Oh shit coke is moving into this movie haha
0:30 So you mean he's having Vietnam Flashbacks.
please do quiet cool next
Is that the one where James Remar goes to the small town where his girlfriend came from and teams with her brother to take down a drug ring? That was the movie I thought of watching this video.
I for one would have preferred a movie starring the Constructicons from The Transformers.
Please review howling 5 Cecil, it's utter garbage but I loved it as a kid for some reason would love to hear your commentary.
Is any Alien vs Predator video coming any soon? :D
the real war was between pepsi and coke
"Apparently they dont make bras in heaven." This is a fact.
Correction He's got Folgers Crystals
Tropic Thunder?
Why is the movie called the Devastator? Who is this person? The main character...? Deak?
But like you said: the plot makes very little sense. It's all about the action and blowing stuff up. Like any good action movie :)
Great video. Cheesy flick 😂 keep up with the good work.
I’ve been, there are definitely no bras in heaven.
do fistfighter 1989
Is Jay Bauman in the comments?
that name though 😂
'Six Million Dollar Man' no?
1:30 Jesus Christ, where is gas that high?? Where I live gas has been less than $2/gal for the past 3 years, thank the gods.
Slumber Party Massacre? -Pretty please?
