Nice work you two 👍🏻 We’ll doing one as well in a couple of weeks, the loft is full!! Blows my mind how people come to a boot sale and DONT bring a bag with them when they’re buying!!
I am a seller and I offer bags which are on a roll so I tear them off. White bags with handles, perfect for clothes etc I get them from Aldi 40 small bags for £1.55
I didy first carboot yesterday to get rid of older stock made £50 which is more than I expected 👍 just started making RUclips videos about my full time job reselling on depop 🙌
The problem with carboots is either everyone wants something for nothing and they mess you around, or haggle you down... if you are buying, it’s hard to find a stall that’s selling to make space (and will allow haggling) rather than selling for profit so either way you can’t win
You have done brilliant. Same as me in Sussex. £150 over the float this weekend . All depends the time of year and the character of people. who want to buy... Good one this weekend. .. Keep on going.
Great video you seem to be a really happy couple and just watching this has inspired me and my partner to go back to selling as we used to do car boots and buying and selling in the past so thanks again for the upload as we will be looking to get back into car boots if you don't mind me asking we're about in the UK was this car boot thanks
This is so interesting. Car boots are like our flea markets. Everything is so reasonably priced. You and your wife are very polite. Are carboots on weekends only? Are you charged a fee for use of that space? Wish I could visit the Uk one day. Love the history ❤️
Sofia dober you would love the UK if you’re a fan of History?... there’s probably more history than anywhere else in the world? But Car Boot Sales over here are usually on a Sunday morning....and very early in the morning too lol. They start around 6 or 7am, and you have to be early to get the best stuff. And if you want to go to sell your stuff, you usually have to pay on the gate to be a seller and get a pitch. They’re not too expensive though... usually around £5 to £10 GBP for a car pitch. At the end of the video, Nic said they paid £11 for the pitch in this where they were... so that’s about $14 USD
If you are working out your sales total only (gross), you add back in your bay fee, not substract it. Yes it is an expense and needs to be subtracted if you're working out your net takings after expenses. Perhaps you were. Sorry I'm new to your channel so forgive me if I missed something. Love you guys. What a team. Thank you. I have some serious catching up to. Looking forward to watching all of your videos
Thanks Nic & Andrea, it was really interesting to see selling from the flip side; it reminds me of what we would call 'garage sales'/yard sales' or the Flea Market, although your prices are far more reasonable than a lot of the pricing here. Looked super busy, well done!
Laughing at Nic...Its brand new! We do a car boot sale once a year to clear sticky stock. Whatever we come back home with I put on FB or Shpock as a mixed lot just to get rid which usually sells very quickly.
I do this quite often through the year to clear stuff. Alway give my daughter her own stuff to sell as well. The last one I done we made about £195. Still clearing stuff and need to do at least two more at this point. I do enjoy it though. Especially on a nice day. For 3 hours work to get £180 for dead stock is great👍👍👍😜😜😜
Enjoyed your video, thanks. How did you manage to film without the people noticing or didn't they mind ? Also what Phone or camera did you use ? Many thanks keep up the good work.
amzn.to/2KOMhwz that is a link to the one I use - I like it because it is so small and inconspicuous, I have also made lots of similar video using my Iphone
Hi Nic, I heard you mention a website to look up valuable cards, but I forgot. Could you please let us know which website we can look up? I got various topps match attax cards etc.
well done guys, thats a good price for three hours work, wow you sold stuff cheap fair play to you, i am surprised they wernt emptying your car for you. get an electric vest and gloves mate they are amazing for cold mornings if selling or buying.
Electric vest sounds great - Yeah we always sell cheap, we only do a few bootsales a year and the object is always to get rid of as much as possible, if you price cheap, people buy a lot and it clears it quick :)
Nina, the reindeer is a doll baby. Your Car Boot sale made you some great money, but those masses of people surrounding you guys were a bit terrifying. I can handle American garage sales where I sit behind a table and people come In pairs or threes. I’ve apparently turned into an old lady! 👵🏻 You two rocked it,though.
I can only guess the dude paid for the pink Cadillac and we didn’t just witness him knickin it! I love a boot sale, preferably selling. Making money for old junk is awesome and meeting life’s weird and wonderful characters is great too!
Have done car boots since my teens, first discovered them in London area mid 80’s when staying with family. Can’t believe they charge £11 around your area, is £5/6 in S Wales. Don’t think I will moan about that price again! Pile high sell cheap seems to work best for us. And taking a supply of carrier bags!
To lazy to have a yard sale at my own house. Husband takes it all to the consignment shop, all the money goes toward him getting a newer car. If I had a yard sale the money would be in my pocket and not his, but, I'm old and fat and don't want to move anymore than necessary.
@@NicHills You are up early! I think we determined at one time that it is 5 hours ahead there as compared to my part of Canada, so it must be 5am there!
Core come to my carboot dam its bumpy getting in. I can garantee someone watching this is thinking dam wish i could have this to resell. You can deffo tell the resellers at your stall. Dam your stall was busy. Bloody hagglers wanting things for nothing. Did you see anyone that new you? Did anyone reconise the go pro?

Dude in the red coat at the beginning checking the going prices on eBay 😅
I love how you tell people it's a pound and they stay there looking at it for ages thinking should they buy it or not. It's a pound FFS!
CRAIG-CRAIG they might not have money to waste
I've done car boots asked for a £1 and people have said will you take 85p ffs
You have to bear in mind most of the buyers are looking to sell online. When you're a businessman every penny counts. They all add up eventually
If they sell 1000 items a months, saving 50p an item would make them £500
It’s so annoying. I think they’re the sort who would do that even if you said 50p !!
Reminds me of everything I hate about boot sales i.e. the people. haggling on things that cost next to nothing to begin with. Do one
No bags? Rookie move!😜 Great vid. Thanks for sharing
Looks like quite a busy boot even on an overcast and cold day! Wish my local boot was like that :)
Nice work you two 👍🏻 We’ll doing one as well in a couple of weeks, the loft is full!! Blows my mind how people come to a boot sale and DONT bring a bag with them when they’re buying!!
Yeah, so many people asked for bags.... annoying!
Which location is

How miserable does everyone look there !
It's probably really early
bestyboo16 exactly what I was thinking, wouldn’t hurt to crack a smile you know, even if it was cold & miserable
Its the south. No please or hello
The great British weather doesn't help
Well done Nic and Andrea, great days work, nice to clear a bit of stock 👍🏻
Thanks - yes, so satisfying to clear out :)
Enjoyed it Friends! TFS!
Congratulations 🎉 keep selling and finding the treasures you guys are awesome 🙋🏼♀️💐
I'm new to your videos but I wanted to say I enjoyed this car boot one, moreover, you both were calm & polite to customers and that goes along way.
Do a few car boot sales a year just to clear out old stuff normally Easter and the summer holidays, when it's nice.

Love doing carboot still manage to get round to buy from them but haven't had time to go to one to sell for ages.
Great video really gave a good view of what selling at a boot sale is like 👍👍
You have done brilliant. Same as me in Sussex. £150 over the float this weekend . All depends the time of year and the character of people. who want to buy... Good one this weekend. .. Keep on going.
Awesome. I used to sell every week back in the day. But now I just sell a couple of times in the winter as buyers are desperate for stock.
Yeah - we did well because there were not many sellers with decent stock...
Well done !!
Another great video.
Well done, feels great to clear stale stock 😁
Yeah, so satisfying to clear out :)

This was in Welwyn Garden City :) Glad you enjoyed the video
Best item in the stall was the pluto frame by far through this whole video I couldnt stop looking at it :-)
He was snapped up and went off to a new home :)
Great video nice profits 👍
I love car boot sales! 👍
Good job 👍
*You sell stuff at really cheap/ fair prices and the boot sale looks pretty packed.* 👍🏼
We only do bootsales to clear old stock so we price cheap to get it shifted...
Oh, and cutest little reindeer ever! 😊💕
Yeah she is adorable :)
£11 entrance seems a bit steep, we pay £7 at the two carboots we sell at.
Yeah they are all similar prices round here...
One near us is
£2
The one is used to go to is £1
You are now my favourite channel on you tube! THUMBS UP GUYS! Steveyb

Yeah we are there to clear it out - we always price cheap - don't want it coming home :)
Could feel the cold. Bet that cup of tea was most welcome. Great profit though so worth it. Well done.
Yes that tea was a godsend.
Used to enjoy boot sales, but now everyone's an "expert" !
Before you left there was a doctor who tardis box , you still got it? Lol I’m a fan

Yeah, we tend to donate what is left but the job lot on FB is a good idea :)
odd question but do you still have the camo clothes at 4:30 if so how much do you want for them?
Enjoyed video well done
Thanks :)
I'd love to but don't have car need to persuade my bro to get up early 1 Sunday n help nice bit of money made
Hope they were all "End of the Rainbow" buyers. If Nic couldn't sell it no one could, LOL.
apologies if you have already mentioned this but whereabouts was this boot sale? (great insight btw thanks!)
Nice one bit of cash to buy new stock and created some space :)
Yes, exactly :) mission accomplished

Exactly, prefer to do them in the summer, we are not cold weather fans!
How do you make profit effectively , you sell a slow cooker for £1.50 , that probably retails for £15
We do a boot sale most weekends love them makes more room so I can buy more things 🙄
Car boot sales were fun back in the days. Nowadays you've got eBay and Shpock which takes away the enjoyment
I'll probably have to do one this year if Boris & Co let's us out to play. 🙄
It's funny seeing people THINK LOADS about buying something for £1.
What is the music at the end of the video? I love it,
I wanted the Army camo thing......goodluck!
You were selling stuff mega cheap. Well done tho good total. We do A couple of sales a year to clear out.
Resellers trying to buy from a reseller. Not going to go well for them 😂
Hi Nic, I heard you mention a website to look up valuable cards, but I forgot. Could you please let us know which website we can look up? I got various topps match attax cards etc.
Mana Leak is the one I use for Magic the Gathering, Pokemon etc - for the cards you mention I would just use completed listings on ebay

Some great bargains there
Wonder if you thought about using the Sumup Card reader that I see advertised here on youtube, and I also saw last year at many Kent fayre's.
No, we don't do these regularly enough to make that worth the effort
You sold a slow cooker for 1.50 but on Facebook they go for £10-£15 normally
This thing was tiny and a very cheap brand...
What are the blue stickers people are wearing?

We do bootsales to clear out old dead stock - we go with the mindset to sell cheap and clear out :)
Oh my god your prices were a bargain, I loved it.
Yup - price low to clear as much as we can :)
I recognise that font!
Why would a reseller sell at a boot sale? Surely, the margins will be a lot lower compared with online selling or have I missed something?
Am I right in saying there is a Qatar Airways Silver Privilege Club too in the top left of that wallet when the First Lady is buying clothes? 🤔
Is it really a car boot if it isn’ t blisteringly cold?
Damn I would of had all those blu ray at 50p each
within the 1st minute i see someone looking up an item on ebay haha
Yup :)
Bargain Buster You'd think he'd be in for a disappointment, as Nic would've no doubt already looked it up and priced it accordingly.
It's me with vintage clothing at carboots 😂
I sometimes make more than that but my family do one at the some time and we have a contest who makes the most

Why didnt you put any of this stuff on ebay/amazon ? was it not worth it I imagine.

Please tell us why you are doing a car boot? Are you changing direction! I have been following your resales journey for a while x
Just clearing dead stock...
Are you the couple that had a few hundred thousand views then made a video on it ?

Did you count the fiver Andrea put in your wallet when swapping the £10 for a £5?
Never heard of a bootsale. Where I come from, we call them flea markets 🙂
One scary clown left? Is that Nic? Sorry Nic I love to kid. LOL.
LOL
Sweet couple.
Have u ever encountered a thief?
50p for a blu ray DVD would you of not got more at cex?
They're not trying to make money on it, they are clearing space.
Ellis James good point , would of got more and a definite sale surely ?

Which car boot is that? Looks really busy
