Dont know what it is but I love these types of videos of what you are actually selling etc. Loving the go-pro filming Nic puts a far better feel on the videos and definitely enhances the quality. Some good sales and hope you have a good week, thanks for sharing.
Would certainly love a video on the shipping of these. What label writer you use, what's the process of making the labels you print off etc. We currently just stick stamps on everything from our webstore since smartstamp was discontinued so I'd love to learn more about your method. Do Royal Mail then pick up your mail bag from your location? I looked into that before but it seemed expensive at the time
We use Royal Mail Click and Drop, it links to our ebay account, generates the labels for us, the labels are free from RM. I drop it all off as the PO is just round the corner.
Wow great video, do you have any videos on how postage works, in terms of having the ability to print your own labels, how you drop off the parcels and how they process it etc. As it clearly seems different to taking an unlabelled parcel to the post office and joining the queue etc
Hi there How and where do you get the recorded delivery orange stamps for that is signed for , and where do you get your bags from for the Royal Mail . Would be ideal if you did a dedicated video in the sending off process (set up ) with the post office
You open a business account with royal mail. You need to sell a decent amount to make it work. Buy a zebra label maker at about 160 quid and then you get free labels and bags on the supply website
Great video! I've been watching your videos for a few weeks now and subscribed! Really inspired and motivated to get into reselling! I've started from selling my own stuff so far and will soon be visiting car boot sales too! Oh and the go pro it's much preferred over the iPhone!
I don't think i would be able to remember where i put anything if i had a stock room that big haha, great video nic learn so much from your videos keep up the great work :)
What motivates you to sell such a variation of items? I sell art materials because I’m interested in art. I’m not sure I could sell all the other stuff.
What label printer are you using ? I bought a cheap DYMO labelwriter 450 few years back and it doesn’t connect via WiFi, only via USB cable, additionally from what I can tell it is not capable of printing the address size labels like you have here which means I have to print it out on a laser printer, cut the label and tape it on which is quite time consuming compared to a quick sticky label.
How does the paying for postage online and getting the stickers printed at home work? What's the sort of coatings? As well as the royal mail sacks? I used to do a lot of buying a selling but found it cost too much when doing it the old school way? What's the beta route about getting back into selling in 2019?
I loved this please do more I totally agreed with about you with the packing and posting i just love it I mean this is the best thing I have seen all week and I am sad it is done
Hi Nic great videos. I am no sure if you will see my comment in order to reply. basically i have been happy selling on ebay for last 5 years with everything going well. Currently ive been using Hermes for almost all my orders. most of my orders go through Hermes import integration with ebay but for my international i have to self input into hermes. Its not to much a problem because i just copy and paste all the details from the paypal order. But now last week i was forced onto ebay payments i have no paypal to paste from. So im having to manually type each individual order which is no just the most pain in the ass time consuming nightmare, but also opens it up to me making a mistake especially with global reference numbers. I cant copy and paste from the ebay order because it does not allow it. It only gives an option to copy to clipboard. but when i try that it says copied. but then icant find the clipboard. Today i tried for the first time ebay labels and the label reference is too small and unreadable unless with a magnifying glass. Why has ebay always got to create things to make life harder all the time.
Hey Nic, love the videos! I remember when I started selling on eBay, I had to show everything, measure, and weigh..is this what you do as well? I normally went ahead and would pack mine all up with a note of what was inside, that way if it sold it was already boxed, I would just add the label..love your set up, very nice and organized!!
Always loved the picking and packing. For me, it's the final part of getting the items out the door. I just wish the listing wasn't so tedious!! Just one question. How do you get the labels onto a label printer? I can never get the size right. Keep up the good work!!
Can’t fault the guy he’s making that extra bit of money from doing this which is pretty smart and publishing RUclips videos which also gets him a bit of extra cash. I like it. I’ll like the video to help him out.
Hi Nic & Andrea. Love the videos. But Im a little confused. Why do a lot of the items you say have sold, not show up as sold on your ebay page? They only show as Out of stock. For instance the hoover and Ultima do not appear in your sold listings?
How do you print out the same labels that the post office or courier would ? Surely that part is when they themselves process it ? Can you explain that part to me please
Hi Nic. Great video, very inciteful and helpful. One question: what is the additional label that prints off along with the address label? Is it necessary? Because if not then could you set the label printer to just print the address label? It'd save you half of your labels. Just a thought. Anyway keep up the great content
Great video as usual. Do you use Royal Mail 48 instead of 2nd class? I think 48 is dearer so interesting to know why you use it? I know it has tracking on it and im interested in using this service for my orders rather than 2nd class. Thanks
Nic - I'm very impressed at just how professional you run your business. Without giving away your income, would it be fair to say you can replace a 'normal' job and pay a small mortgage by becoming a reseller? (Don't worry, I'm in northern Scotland)
I can only speak for what we were able to do, we live a very comfortable life doing this, we are mortgage free but bought our house and paid it off all since going self employed back in 2002. What you are capable of is entirely down to you, your work ethic and ability to find and sell enough stuff..... but in short - yes it is possible.
Thank you for sharing Nic really enjoyed watching as always , good job mate, i am hoping to go to more car boot sales over here next weekend as i am finally off work next weekend , my parents have just told me about another car boot sale that is on that i didnt know about so hoping to go there in the near future, i am also seriously thinking about selling on ebay again so i may ask for help in the FB group and i also plan to upload a video about selling on ebay again as well , i know this sounds silly but i have been off ebay for 7 years now and just need a lot of help , speak to you again soon Nic , once i get my next car boot haul i will upload video about selling on ebay again
Hey Nic, since you work from home, do you have any specialist insurance for that kind of thing? I tried to do it a couple of times but the insurance companies couldn't help me out. Thanks for all the knowledge you guys share
Hi Nic, I am interest in the DMO for my daily label print. But do you know how to correct the address before print as eBay buyers always leave a wrong address (for example no door number , or incorrect post code) how did you sort it ? and is it hard to sort 100+ parcels per day?
You print the address as they have supplied it, i use packlink to print lables so all is automatic. I have been selling for many years and can count on 1 hand how many problems i have had with incorrect addresses. Its just not an issue. As to lable printer i would suggest the Zebra GK420, its a workhorse and you can use the royal mail labels they provide free, it costs a little more i think but there is a reason companys like amazon use them. And your final question, most sellers ship monday, wednesday and friday which is why they have 2 day dispatch on (myself included) so they dont have to ship everyday. Hope this helps with your questions. *edit* Also only just saw that you posted this a year ago and i had already posted my response before i noticed.
Do you just go round car boots buying cheap items and ebaying them? Great idea if so,working a normal full time job would prevent us from doing this though right?

HI. I don't know how you do it, you are taking 25 orders in to the post and you only have over 400 items listed. Amazing. We have over 800 listed but we are not selling that much and we have quite good prices. Any tips please? Thank you
Price keenly and try to stock stuff people want... we don't do anything special really.... mind you we have crap days too, not every day is a good sales day.

The wide angle view is good, opens up your Tat Cave. Took a bit of getting used to it being on your head as your ninja moves were fast.
Yeah, i'm still learning :)
Good video, for the postage, do you weigh everything individually for the labels?
Is it worth selling on ebay when you factor in postage costs and ebay fees
As long as you factor that in and still make enough money for your time then.... yes.
Which is best - and post-office or my hermes? I like the hermes for convenience.
Hi, love watching your vids, could you tell me, what printer do you use for printing out the Royal mail labels?
