I can really feel the back and everything else hurts. I've done plenty of such jobs to know. Sometimes you wanna flip the whole tractor over just to get a decent position. Then add thousands of midgets coming for a marvelous dinner party while your hands are occupied. Anyway,, good job sir!👌 Happy for you. Tractor without brakes are a nightmare. Stay safe mate😊
Thanks Anders, you really have done such jobs before. The only good thing about smoking is it keeps the midgets off the face! Nightmare over for this tractor. Have a great day
WooooHoooo SIMON!!!!😊😊😊 Tight, cramped spaces, multi focal glasses one hand, one finger job AND YOU NAILED IT! Your accomplishment showed at the end of a very long haul. Congratulations and thank you for sharing the whole lot. Hope you are all well and that you have had some relax time out on the boat. ❤️🇦🇺🇸🇪
@@arctic-rebel thank you my friend. I need to buy you some coffee to show my support. Shipping to your area and restrictions are unbelievable. Hope you have a great productive day. Be safe and please tell Sara hello. Thank you for your blessings.
Shipping and authoritarian restrictions are some of the worst in the world, they rank alongside our tax rate. However, it keeps most of the riffraff away so not sure I am complaining that much if you know what I mean.
@@arctic-rebel I agree 100% with you. I wish the U.S. would tighten up on restrictions but were to dumb and greedy here. We have so many invasive plants, insects, etc..to name a couple. Thank you sir and have a blessed day.
A happy ending! Successful repair and you were smiling. I easily get frustrated doing difficult repairs because the lack of access doesn't have to happen. Products are engineered and the repair of serviceable components could be made simple. Unfortunately we mechanical types have done way more hard fixes than easy ones. It made me laugh when you thought installation would be an hour.
Awesome. You did it. I as well learned something , not only did i learn the rebuild of the master cilender i also learned to never work on a Volvo 😢😂😂. Definitely not a problem. Glad i could help out, if u need something let me know cheers Simon
Thanks Heith, You may not be surprised to know so many tractors of that age are the same just different colors and names. You have already been amazing thank you so much Buddy.
Oh Yes it is a big job you just done Simon, i agree. Sometimes the People Who constructed the truck has place the parts in a bad place for us mechanics. Now you can use the old lady again. Keep on the good management❤ mayby next job is the valve adjustment? Big hug from Denmark
Howdy Simon- I actually had my moments of anticipation there. I must say, as you did, you’re a man of much skill and much patience. I admire a fellow who doesn’t give up in frustration. Thank you so much for sharing your journey getting your brakes fixed. Great job my friend. God bless
Thank you very much John, I am pleased you enjoy the ride. I have traveled your country extensively and have had many a fond adventure from your mountain ranges.
I have the 2204 myself with a Quicke frontloader. Just lost breakpressure and have ordered a rebuildkit for the master break cylinders. Thanks a lot for posting this video.
Well done... not only is the beast running good, now it can be stopped properly too👍 And what a display og patience.. I would probably have blown the F.....g thing to atoms😅 All the best to you and yours🙂
It has to be an age thing with me Mark, and to be honest a need because that was one of those jobs If I knew a man and could afford him I would have let him do it. Thanks have a great day.
Good Job Simon. Tough job working in tiny space where your fingers are your eyes. I was grunting with you trying to reach those bolts and nuts, Thanks for sharing your work. It's good to have friends that can help you. God Bless you and your family. Pets and pats to Kaspar. Alan
Thank you Alan, I hope you are doing well and I gave you an escape for a while. Unfortunately I think that was the hardest place to reach on that tractor. Be blessed my friend and we wish you well.
Slended job my friend. Its probably a good thing that the tractor is older when repairs like that happen. Most things on newer equipment are non repairable or rebuildable and new must be purchased from a dealer or other source, costing even more money and downtime. Im glad your backup and running safely. Hope you get lots of rest and continue to get things accomplished. Thanks for sharing and we'll see you down the road..... Does the breaks self adjust in reverse or is that needed? Good bless my friends. Hello Sara 👋
Thanks Paul, I have to guess the brakes self adjust because there is nothing written on how to adjust them other than the parking brake which is a 1/2" nut.
Your tenacious grip....lol maybe the whole assembly was inserted when first built...they save TIME that way...lol assembly line methods are practised, perfected to reduce alloted time....School of hard knocks GRADUATE...EARNED A DEGREE
Glad it was you twisting up in there not me even the old wee knee would have been hurting 😒. Nice work Simon
We can say I was relieved to have finished it, but that needs a younger body than mine. Have a great day Brad.
Well done Sir, hard to work in cramped conditions, no extra holes in the digits. Ready for work.
You got that right William, Thank you.

Great, no problem. Wait for spring it is a bit of a pain to do but breaks are really needed in the forest.
Grand job Simon... now you can make that tractor/ trailer really work for you!! Stay safe and happy! High to Sarah and Kasper!

I was hoping given it's age it may have been an easy job! No.
What? broken down? A volvo?! Nooo....
I would guess you have personal experience
@@arctic-rebel With their cars, not the tractors :/ They sure were better back in the day. I'd never buy a new volvo.
Get your pig blankets out Simon! Not a fun job...
Thanks Dave, maybe now I can do a fun job with the result!
