    Baltic’s best and prettiest watch yet, by far. They’re on a roll over there. Nice review.

    Great video as always Oleg! Cant wait to receive mine in April! Happen to have the same size wrist as you. Interesting it is pre-sized

    Hi Oleg, your a lucky man been able to keep that one. Can’t see it getting as much wrist time as the Speedy but it’s very well done. I have a very early Baltic (the first dressy model) and I really love it. They may have beat us (England), in the World Cup at Football/ Soccer but the French sure know how to make a good watch. 😉

    Great review. Thank you. In future, would it be possible to see the watch on wrist while wearing a long sleeve shirt?

    I've been a Baltic fan for years, since I bought their first Aquascaphe, but this chrono is very ordinary as well as overpriced. They did a great job with an earlier TriCompax, the colorful "x Peter Auto", but this latest offering feels stale and derivative to me.

    I love this watch in both the Panda and Reverse Panda. I can't wait for mine. I have the Reverse Panda coming in the first round so I was lucky enough to get one of the numbered watches. I have a pretty good collection of watches but I've fallen in love with Baltic Watches. I have 5 so far and I'm slowly tracking down the limited editions and numbered versions. Thank you for the video and keep up the good work!

    If it had lumed numbers and hour markers it'd be OK. But I find the shiny numbers and hour markers, not to mention the black chrono seconds hand, to be off putting. Almost there, but it falls short. Like you said, it's unfinished.

    Really nice presentation Oleg as always. I was kinda excited about the possible release of these, but hoping for a non limited version of the ones with color. I find these just way too generic. The price is good, but there's nothing there that makes me want to see this on my wrist. Pass.

    Why can’t they make the chronograph sec minutes hours hands one colour, and the normal sec minutes hours hands for the time another?

    Thanks for the review. Looks like a winner. I totally disagree about exhibition case backs, though. They should reveal something interesting or otherwise one shouldn’t bother. Pointless exhibition case backs are a trend that annoys me tremendously, in the same way fauxtina drives others nuts. Also, sapphire against the skin doesn’t feel as good as steel. This a retro watch; solid case backs and drilled lugs are compulsory.

    0:56 The price is 2000$/€, not 1600. Its 1600 ex VAT, but everybody needs to pay tax.
    Hate it when people make it look cheaper by excluding the tax when we know the average Joe needs to pay that

    • @nintendokings
      @nintendokings Год назад +1

      Baltic does advertise their EU prices inc tax. But tax changes per region on the planet, so Baltic doesn’t advertise the tax if you’re browsing from Canada like Oleg. Some places you won’t even pay import tax.

    Odd they size the bracelet. Do they send the spare links or do you have to pay for more links if you need them? I would give a white lie and say I have an eight inch wrist. 😮

    I like the watch but I still think the price point like all of their watches is too high. And why can’t Baltic get its logo to be straight on its crown? It’s twisted on my Aquascaphe too. It really bugs me. 50m of water resistance isn’t sufficient. Just put on a screw down crown at this price point. I’m glad they are back to sapphire crystals. I wonder how the lum is? It’s absolutely garbage on my Baltic. I also don’t like that it is manual and not automatic at this price point.

    • @nintendokings
      @nintendokings Год назад

      Manual wind only is a feature not a flaw. Some prefer it + makes it thinner.
      And asking for a screw-down crown on a manual wind watch is stupid

    • @914Rocky

      @@nintendokings You are right. Thanks. It’s wrong to prefer automatic watches with screw-down crowns and greater water resistance. How stupid of me.

    I like the watch, enjoyed the review....my only concern unfortunately is there's no wow factor here, it seems a bit generic....my apologies to the Baltic team I know how much time effort and expense goes into bringing a watch to market.... hopefully it's just me and they sell out....despite my thoughts here I do want to see more from Baltic and am looking forward to that....🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⌚🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⌚

    To thick for me but in all fairness, I have never seen a thin mechanical chronograph watch before. Even manual wind ones are thick. None are inexpensive besides the seagull 1963 which I hear can't keep time well.

    DON'T buy any baltic watches, they are garbage. I ordered their mr01 for 605 euros, paid in full, in advance. I received the watch 7 months later. It ran 9 MINUTES per hour fast. I did not mis-type the last sentence. 9 MINUTES per hour fast, not 9 seconds. And the bor bracelet was very cheap, I have $100 watches with vastly superior bracelets. And they will not provide a return shipping label to return their garbage product. Live & learn. RUN from the GARBAGE company !
