wow thats a beautiful sight seeing both the machines on the trailer like that. just hope that truck holds together. you cant beat a 299 and 306 combo. I bet you wouldnt even need the 313 if it werent for the 80 foot tall trees. We dont have nice forests like that here in south texas
They are an awesome combo. I got a 82" or 84" tooth bucket ordered for the 299. Supposed to be here tomorrow or Wednesday. And yeah if it weren't for the monster trees around here I wouldn't need anything bigger than the 306.
@@smithworx1091 thats a good deal. most aftermarket buckets are well over 2k. I dont even use my smooth bucket anymore, i can do everything better and faster with a tooth bucket. I dont even bring a grapple to most jobs because the tooth bucket does that too. the only thing it cant do is the raise up and tilt bucket straight down and backdrag smooth.

But then again when I was doing that there was usually no such thing as good tires on a big truck in the oil patch. Maybe the DOT has tighten the grip on them more than they did then
I deal with the same stuff daily. I guess it’s just the nature of the excavating business. I alway say if 3 jobs go as planned the 4th one will get you. It’s always something!
Look at skid steer attachments depot. They have some of the best made attachments to me. I have a heavy duty grapple and severe duty bucket that cost less than big name guys sell just the grapple. I’m in Birmingham and they are just north of me in Huntsville I think.
I agree 150% on having a trailer big enough to haul the skid steer and miniX. Makes jobs go a little smoother...And also agree on the TP...🤣

It's always something Isn't it? Sad thing is, is I have about 6 more tires that need replacing
