OMG, you look like sisters! I was sold when I see you use Badia seasoning and oregano. I'm Italian, so those are two of my favorite seasonings. I will definitely be making this recipe. I had some family members visit Bahamas recently and they were crazy over conch fritters and had them everyday. I'm in CA and I have no idea where to buy fresh conch. Can you recommend a canned conch? If not, I'll use scallops or shrimp. I even heard clams might be a good choice. What do you think? Love your video and will be making these with some kind of seafood!
Omg made these for my boyfriend who’s from Florida and my family and they LOVED THE I had a few subs-fresh scotch bonnet for bottle sauce and fresh oregano and basil for dry herb I had no thyme but they were FLAVORFUL ty ladies I can now say I’m part Caribbean lol
The conch was not tenderized at first, it was chopped into small pieces. However it was fresh conch which makes it soft and tender. You can tenderized it beforehand if you so desire, especially if it's not fresh conch. Tenderizing the conch and chopping it into small pieces will be delicious..
With women like that servin the fritters...they could be bad fritters and I wouldnt notice..haha! Looks good and the sauce totally reminds me of the Bahamas or back home in ft lauderdale ..one pack of ketchup, one pack of mayo, one of mustard, and a couple shots of hotsauce. Yum
Wow. Your mom looks like your (younger...eh ehm 😁) sister. I’ve never used so many seasonings for conch fritters but I’ll definitely give this a try tomorrow. It looks delicious and nicely golden brown. Good job.
The conch was not cooked before hand. Some people like to cook it before hand ,and that's fine. Me personally I like to cook it all together and lock in that fresh conch taste and flavor. Often times if cooked beforehand it gets a rubbery consistency. Hope this helps
Looks so delicious 👍

Do you tenderize the conch first? If so what method did you use?
