I miss old Genestealer cult blips in 8th ed codex. Even the locations of the blips change after I know who is going first. I think I moved one of two blips a few inches, added 2 or 3 dummy blips, and then moving a couple blips and units that were on the board off it. Such great training wheels for my first army.
Yeah deploying right is pretty crucial! I m a Necron player and had my 12 ish games of experience with them. And recently i played my second game against my friend as Tyranid, and boy oh boy are they different in every way. It started with deploying and continued to be a giant puzzle for me to solve. I felt pretty lost, not gonna lie. Ironically i won with 104pts but still, very complicated army to play. Either that or Necrons are super easy.
Different armies do place different big challenges to deployment. If your are monster/vehicle heavy and have to move around terrain then it's a lot harder than infantry
Nice vid as always dude! Just wondering (kinda jumping back to ur previous vid) would u ever consider kill team? We get…decent… attention and our teams are kept pretty well balanced, with little changes unless needed!
Playing a 40K League at the moment, so really appreciate this video. Thanks Andy. Also, how do you (or anyone in Comments) feel about people who push their army allowance points over the limit in a league or tournament? For Casual I think it's ok, but would you say this is technically 'cheating' and would you (or anyone) say that even 10 points extra is enough to make a considerable difference to an army list in regards to fitting in more powerful units, that you might not otherwise be able to take, if keeping strict to the points cap? It does depend though, it might mean you get an extra unit or enhancement which could make a difference. In general hitting 2k is part of the list building game so everyone should hit it, or whatever points cap is agreed for the format Warhammer is our game so in social environments fill your boots 😁

GSC are a great army and tricky to play tbh. They have a lot of tricks to punch up 😁
I really enjoyed this! I'd love one looking at some missions like deploy servo skulls, that one ruins me every time I play it

I've definitely considered kill team 😁 just need to find a group locally that play it so I get the games in 👍
Play at least once a week, know what play style is your army, to help your strategy. good info.
