    I just purchased my X850C 2015 Model and It seems that I am going to be very, very pleased with this TV. I did a lot of research and this TV is a great TV and the price, budget wise is very good on the pockets. I am a tech guy and I used to sell, deliver and hook up a lot of TV's, so I know how to bring out the best in TV's and what HDMI cables to have to get the most superb picture quality. I can't wait for this TV to be delivered so I can start watching my new Genie from DirecTV on it with all of the 4K channels they have been raving about to me and play my PS4 on it too. I love all of Sony's products. I have been waiting to get a 4K TV for about 4 or 5 years and just couldn't wait any more, this year there has been amazing prices on the 4K TV's and this is the time to get at least one 4K TV in your house.

      +Supermason3000 which HDMI cables to you use?

      I have the fusion 4K cables which run about $50. I am thinking about checking out the $100 monster cables just to see how they do. These are very good though.

    Just bought this. Only problem is my Wi-Fi isn't connecting after the update I did after in boxing it. Great picture. Worth every penny.

      +SilentAssasin425 Really? Wow, I was going to go with a Samsung initially, but the guy I spoke with at Best Buy convinced me to go with the Sony over a Samsung. He said Sony uses some kind of special technology (can't remember the name of it) that gives you a better picture when looking at the screen from angles, and I noticed the difference with the model they had on display compared with other TV's. That's what really sold me on it given my seating arrangement. The guy I had was really nice and seemed to know his stuff. The Samsung I was looking at was more expensive so I saved some money. Reviews for this TV were really great too. The WiFi issue I was having has been resolved, it was actually my wireless router causing the problem, not the TV. I can stream video from the internet with no problems now. Picture still looks incredible, no bleeding or bad corner issues with mine at all. Still have yet to watch something in 4k, but to be honest, I can't imagine the picture looking any better than it does right now at full HD. I upgraded to this from a Phillips 49 inch 120htz 1080p TV that's still working like a champ after 7 years. I moved that one to our living room and put this down in our basement for our theater/gaming room. If I had to criticize anything about it, the smart remote (they give you a regular and a smart remote control) is difficult to use, so I just stick with the regular remote control they give you, and the other is the updates take a long time (about 40 minutes to an hour) to complete. Not a big deal for me though. In a nutshell, I couldn't be happier with it. If you get a chance to look at a display model, try looking at the difference between this one and others when viewed from an angle. That's what really sold me on it like I said. Best of luck.

      EXOTICLEX None of the Sony literature specifies if the HDMI ports are 2.0. Will try to find out for sure and get back to you.

    Have you heard of any models not having Netflix. I have the 55" version and even after running that long update, I still do not have Netflix as an option and the button just brings up the notice that they are adding new apps starting in May 2015. Just curious as I can't find any info on their site or anywhere else.

      Joseph DeBenedictis We actually just heard of it the other day. I reached out to our Sony rep today and he advised me that Sony is working on a fix and Netflix and some other apps (Hulu, MLBTV) will automatically be added the next week or two.

    I just bought this tv and have a question on which HDMI cables you recommend. Are monster cables worth $100 or can I get buy with ones that cost $30 or $40?

    • @abtelectronics
      @abtelectronics  9 лет назад +1

      Jay Just Games The important thing is that you look for a HDMI cable that can handle 4K content, so you'll want to find a cable that is HDMI 1.4 or HDMI 2.0.

    I got this TV but it came without glasses which I find just plan rude for the £1300 spent on it!
    Anyway I bought some (cheap) on eBay but when I go into 3d the glasses don't do anything??
    Is there something I'm missing in settings or do I need Sony glasses or something?
    If so which glasses do I need?

      +jamie gregory 3D glasses model #TDGBT500A. Some people use Samsung SSG-5150GB.

    How does it display 1080p content?

    • @abtelectronics
      @abtelectronics  8 лет назад

      +future shock It upscales to 4K. Obviously doesn't look as great as a true 4K source but does look noticeably improved over 1080p.
