Forma Adventure Boots are built with the ADV rider at the forefront from day one. Coming in both a standard and Low option, the Forma ADV Boots feature full-grain oiled leather throughout the upper and are backed by a waterproof Drytex liner. Additional features include unbreakable GH plastic buckles, robust protective features, and the mobility to move comfortably and effectively while working hard on the pegs.
after 7 years.. finally ordered mine
Good review, sat here wearing in my new ones! (Long black version). You missed an important detail for newbies though....the buckles are adjustable, they can be pulled out, nearly sent them back before I realised this. I have large calves and can now tuck my leather in and do them up no trouble. Very comfy, ordered a size bigger than normal shoes. Update, see reply below.
Me too. I'm a size 42, but needed a 43 for this one.
Update... 2020 still wearing them, they they didn’t get much wear in 2021 due to lockdown. They are NOT waterproof. I’ve tried waterproofing wax, and waterproofing spray with little success, lasts for a trip or two then wet feet. Had to resort to waterproof socks, another £30!
I bought the high boots two years ago, just before the low boots were introduced. I have no complaints, I love the boots. But if I could have I woulda bought the low ones, just for ease under a pant leg. I might get both!
I have two scars that say I should have went with the tall boots.
@@khakimzhanmiras I was thinking about getting these low boots - just curious, what happened to give you those scars?
@@kimjongryan9043 beartrap adventure bike footpegs scratched up my leg during a low speed get off. If the boots had been an inch taller I would have got off basically unscathed.
I got the Alpinestars Corozal. I highly recommend paying the extra money.
Great review Spurg. I am a budding Adventure enthusiast.
I am concerned about the Low not providing adequate protection vs the Tall ADV boot.
Riding mix: 80% Onroad & 20% Light Offroad (To begin with).
Think I'll try out both the boots & then make the final call.
Yes, I recommend trying both on if you can. Personally, I prefer the extra height for ADV riding. -DrewZilla
@@RevZilla Great. Thanks!
If the boot is too uncomfortable, you won’t wear it when riding.
Item compliance is important.
What boots did you settle for? Without having tried them, I’m leaning more towards the low boot... Any input would be appreciated!
ARE THESE GOOD FOR WARM WEATHER RIDING??...AWSMMM REVIEW AS USUAL..
Just purchased a pair, I hope from 244 reviews, the 4.5 stars out of 5 works for me too!
Did you go with the shorts or the tall, and how do you like them?
@@airadaimagery692 I went with the tall. I like them very much, they are comfortable and the straps do adjust.
I'm not gonna lie, I'd clenched up like I'm waiting for a scary part in a horror movie waiting for the normal intro, then it never came O.o
I find the aggressive soul combined with spikey pivot pegs can make shifting tricky
How true to size are these? I wear 8.5 in adidas and converse etc. Size 9 in Asics and size 9 work boots.
These are true to size and sized in European sizes. I recommend size 43. -DrewZilla

thanks so much for the help
I want these!!
Great review mate.
I'm about to take back for an exchange a pair of Sidi adventure gortex boots because I can't feel the gear/brake lever over and under my foot. These forma boots that have been recommended to me. So on a scale of 1-10 (1being crap and 10 being awesome) where would you put the feel of the under/over toe feedback from the levers?
Tcrs✊
Yes, the Forma Adventure Boots have much better lever feel, but you definitely give up protection in exchange for that lever feel. -DrewZilla

Thanks Drewzilla, I appreciate the feedback.

If i decide to wear just jeans on a ride, will the boots fit inside adult sized boot cut jeans?
Between these and the Forma Boulders, what would y'all recommend for a 50/50 mix of commuting/hooligan riding on a supemoto? The commuting part of it would be county and FM back roads (in order to avoid the highway and traffic), but I'd wind up riding into the city for class.
For supermoto riding, I'd recommend the Boulder Boots, as you'll probably like the better 'feel' the flatter soles provide. -DrewZilla

RevZilla Thanks for the reply! I'll definitely look deeper into the Boulders then.
hows is it to tropical climat? I live in Brazil and i was wondering if get to hot inside?
They are waterproof boots, so they will feel hot in Brazil. However, you can increase the comfort by wearing merino wool socks or socks with Coolmax. Many of us here really like REV'IT! Tour Summer Socks. -DrewZilla

Quality boots in reasonable price.
I’m 42,5 European size, what’s the correct USA size??
Between this boot and the Revit Pioneer, which one would you recommend me and why? Need help!!!
Hello from Spain,
Question about Forma Adventure Boots.
I live in an area were it is about 25º C (77º F ) to 32º C ( 89º F) all (!) year round
Questions:How do the Boots behave in that temperature ?
Do you sweat a lot wearing them during the Summertime ?
Thank you.
Honda Africa Twin
Honda CB 1100
The boots are fully waterproof, so they don't breathe as well as non-waterproof boots. However, most adventure boots are waterproof, so it's hard to get around that. In that temperature range, these boots will feel warm. However, if you wear merino wool or wool-blend performance socks, that will help keep your feet cooler. -DrewZilla
How does this compare with TCX BAJA WP BOOTS?
How do these compare with the Alpinestars Corozal Adventure boots?

Maybe someone can measure the insole of 47 euro size Forma Adventure Low Boots? I don't want miss the size because sending to russia and back it's very long time. I think i need 47, because on mine Salomon/Skechers/Nike write different UK/US/EUR sizes, but every shoe have CM/JAPAN is 31. Thanks.
I measured the size 47 insole, and it is exactly 31cm, so that is the same as your measurements. -DrewZilla
Gonna be? What about now?
buy 1 Size larger
I am a short rider, looking for an adventure touring boot with a thicker sole to give me some added height. The daytona m star boots might work, but they are so expensive and doesn't look like it has as much protection. Would this boot be helpful though? I currently wear Tourmaster WP 2.0 boots. Thanks!
Yes, the Forma Adventure Boots will give you a good amount of extra height compared to the Tourmaster Boots. -DrewZilla
Do your feet get hot during summer in these boots?
They feel hotter than non-waterproof boots, but with proper summer motorcycle socks, they feel good. -DrewZilla

Em média qual a duração das botas?
The tall boots are about 14-15 inches (35-37cm). The Low Boots are about 10 inches tall (~25cm). -DrewZilla
👀 mmm time to replace my worn out rossy boots i think 😮 oh so snazzy
IS DRYTEX AS EFFECTIVE AS GORETEX??
No, Gore-Tex is more effective, but it also tends to be more expensive than Drytex. -DrewZilla
fair enough ..thanks a ton guys..
Do not buy these boots in india. The boots are very big and it's difficult to shift gears
