This is a REVISED version of the Original release - this version includes Video of the Orchestra playing / recording the instrumental (synchronized to the audio) and an additional photo of Angelina, both during the ' SONG FOR A ' Audio section of video.
Video begins with a brief background of Nico Cartosio and his collaboration with Angelina Jordan in providing Vocals for ' SONG FOR A '.
Angelina recorded the Vocals in Los Angeles separately from the Instrumental, which was recorded in London at the legendary Abbey Road Studios.
Opening section includes Nico Cartosio's Instrumental Title
Track for his Debut Album ' MELTING ' (2019).

I had always pondered in the title ' Song for A ' what the ' A ' was . . .
Then I learned - from Nico's own writing on Facebook - that he composed the Song specifically for Angelina.
As I was creating this, I realized I had the opportunity to replace the ' A ' with its true representation, which
is what led to the slight-of-hand at the 2min 27sec mark. 😉

To be clear, the first song is Nico's instrumental entitled ' MELTING ', from the Album of the same name.
Angelina's ' SONG FOR A ' immediately follows ' MELTING '.
I have pondered if the "song for A" was titled so only for Angelina Jordan, or perhaps was a deliberate play on that it could also be Annie, the woman that Robert Burns' love poem was about. I think Nico Cartosio intended this ambiguity, or else he would have called it "Song for Angelina" or "Song for Annie". ❤😊
Angelina Jordan's talent truly transcends words. Her soulful performances have a way of captivating audiences, leaving them spellbound by her vocal prowess. It's no wonder that people find themselves at a loss for words; her voice carries a depth and emotion that can only be felt, not described. She embodies the pure essence of music's power to touch the heart and stir the soul.
Its a pity that only a few people in the world will see and listen to this master piece.
With this, hopefully a few more will learn about SONG FOR A - and the interesting story behind it - that otherwise would have Not.
A lot more people will hear this masterpiece because we have this platform youtube. How people would get this in pre web times?
To me the Greatest Singer ever, consider her age and where she id at now, still 10+ years left before full maturity, God Bless!
Thanks James This performance by AJ deservers so much more recognition the maturity of her beautiful vocal and the interpretation of the lyrics and the feelings is a master class from a 12 yrs old master .I hope in retrospect the world acknowledges that she is in every sense of the word "Music".💗👣
Angelina 😇 ' IS MUSIC ' - the Judge on Norway's Got Talent got it exactly correct 10 years ago. Nothing has changed in regards to that claim since - correct then, even more-so today.

Maybe this Video will spark additional interest and help lead to the recognition she deserves not only for this, but for everything she is doing Today as well.

We Understand what a Gem she is; the WORLD will be enlightened soon. This time next year things will be quite different in regards to Angelina's name recognition; in a relative sense, almost nobody knows who she is Today; in a years' time however, I expect that to be quite different, with a fan-base multiple times bigger than today. WE WILL SEE.

Both songs are really Beautiful. The first song, Nico's Album-Title instrumental track - I had never heard before. While doing the research for this video, I came across the Official Video for the Title song 'MELTING', and it was Awesome; since I needed some audio for the introduction, the choice was easy ! Seeing it was on the same album as ' SONG FOR A ' was - you might say - icing on the cake. 😁

teasing us samples of it, then we are 2-3 weeks away; near anticipated release, pay
attention to Thursdays, at Midnight (12am Friday morning), Eastern USA time.
I love this video. It's beautifully misterous and nostalgic at the same time, with Angelina's pictures that seems captured in the 19th century. And then her voice comes out to reach our soul with plenitude.

the orchestra video is not a 1-for-1 match with the 'SONG FOR A' audio. Since the video is a bunch of edited-together clips, it is NOT a True representation of the actual song. However, after about an hour and a half of trial-and-error and strategic use of the HARP in the video, I was able to get it close enough to fool most. 😆 And I threw in a new photo of her too - one of my favorites, with the veil netting over her face.

When, I first heard this, it was so beautiful, I wanted to know about the song title. I found that out and the story of how the song came to be. I then found and listened the album “Melting” by Nico Cartosio. It is a amazing that he composed the back track and sent it to Angelina. She then added the vocals. What an amazing honor that he wrote and named the song for her (based on an old poem) and that it is the only vocal track on the album. James thank you for helping to promote this beautiful work. ❤

I agree. Send everyone here for SONG FOR A ! It would take a lot of the guess work out of trying to clue reactors in on the story behind the song before the reaction - they often don't pay as much attention to the background info you give them prior to a reaction - believe me, I know ! 😆🤣

Sure - you're welcome. I think the video turned out pretty good. I never really put much planning into making them - it sort of just comes together in the video editor and in the process new ideas come to mind. This one in particular has been well received :-)

Such a well thought out and well produced video! Too few people understand the background to this song. Angelina in her most ethereal rendition - such beauty and elegance...
Funny though, as I have mentioned elsewhere, I don't put a lot of thought into them, at least not initially - I guess things come to me as I go along. And as far as production, that is all New to me, but I have an eye for detail and I imagine that helps. I think the use of Nico's song MELTING during the intro / background info presentation turned out to be perfect - another happy accident, really . . .

James, really nicely done! We seem to be traveling similar paths ... I'm working on putting a video together as well, and am a complete novice at it also. Hope the one I'm working on comes out as aesthetically pleasing, well thought out and assembled as your Song for A 🙂. I especially appreciate the background on the composer and his thoughts on Angelina, which I hadn't come across before, and the orchestra footage - AND didn't know about the Abbey Road connection either. So - great research effort too!
In the case of SONG FOR A, the research was easy. Basically everything you mention is on Nico's Facebook, I just had to find it, which I now know to be pretty easy to do, now that I know there is a Search function in FaceBook. Didn't know that back a month ago, so I scrolled, and scrolled, and scrolled, and . . . . 🙄
