hey Chris, I got a question for you and I hope you get it correct can you please tell me which number of the tag team Billy and Chuck that Chris Vanvleet kiss in the ass
Their bromance was like nothing we've ever had and never will again. Legendary.
The pose off against Torrie and Stacy was so entertaining. When you mix the hilarity of Billy and Chuck and the sexiness of Torrie Wilson and Stacy Keibler. You had the makings of one excellent segment.
It might had been the one and only time WWE let WCW (Stacy Torrie) beat them in a segment.. but then again Chuck was also WCW so..
That wedding angle was hilarious 😂😂
"Did I just hear myself say 'three minutes?'" Lmao
Billy & Chuck was awesome and hilarious. And it worked and got way over.
billy's way of describing the challenge of this gimmick reminds me of dustin describing getting over the gold dust gimmick, a challenge not an anchor. testament to the power of positive thinking.
I was thinking the same thing!
Something that Val Venis didn't have
funny enough, my first thought was Dusty Rhodes getting over with the polka dots.
the Chuck and Billy theme song was so good
*YOU. LOOK. SO…..Good to me*
@@datboiderrty I can not turn my eyes away...
Billy Gunn looks like a jacked Bart Simpson.
I bet Homer would keep his hands to himself
I think if the people playing the characters are having fun, the fans will have fun with them, which definitely displayed during that run with Billy and Chuck. Funny enough, Rico became that character later on after the Three Minute Warning disbanded.
"did somebody say...3 minute's?"
Billy might be in top 5 most underrated ever.
He’s sooo good in the ring
I always start a career mode playing as Billy Gunn.... loved this guy
They were “ahead of their time” until Eric Bischoff’s Three Minute Warning put them through tables at their wedding!
I can't imagine the nuclear heat WWE would get if they pulled that stunt today.. and in June of all months.. 😬
@@radioVHS149 shut up
@@radioVHS149 It would not be warranted. The story was inoffensive. Also, you’re a pussy.
@@radioVHS149 Demon month is over now. I think we should take back the rainbow.
@DRIVING_ME_CRAZY Great idea. I highly encourage you to take the rainbow back: wear clothes with the rainbow, fly a rainbow flag. Really go all out.
Rico was such a good manager lol
"YOUUUU LOOOK SOOOOO GOOD TO ME!"
Billy and Chuck paved the way and open the door to Pretty Deadly.
Think they committed more tbh pretty deadly Are basically models / pretty boys Billy and Chuck was too jacked dudes doing a lot more wild stuff lol . Rico was awesome too with haas or when he managed to people
RIP 3 minute warning rosey and jamal/umaga
Underrated tag team
That Billy and Chuck wedding is one of the best segments of all time. And personally my favorite wedding segment in WWE history
Billy and Chuck's theme song was the best. Rent free in my head
Great duo ! Remember them almost getting Married 😂
For 3 minutes wait a minute did I just say 3,minutes 😂😂
I was binge watching SmackDown from that time period recently. They were among the most entertaining parts of that show, which included The Rock, Angle, HHH and Jericho. Crazy how they went from an extension of Gunn's gimmick to a love story for the ages.
Billy probably had one of the most underrated wwe careers of all time
I prefer the Billy and Chuck stuff to any of the DX stuff.
You Zesty 😉
The original pretty deadly just more important
Billy & Chuck were a great tag team, they meshed so well together in a time when the tag team division was starting to get a little lack luster, they were just good wrestlers who made a great tag team, and a very underrated tag team at that
I’ve always been a big fan of Billy Gun 👍🫡😊💯🙏🤙👌🙌😊
Have to say. Billy has aged really fcking well
💯 I genuinely loved this tag team. It reminds of why I love professional wrestling. Didnt take itself too seriously, had fun, was well produced and had a great pay off. That wedding segment is god tier lol. Just the best 🤌😂
I knew it was bischoff before the reveal. It was too comical it had to be someone.
They would have been faces
Great Duo ❤
Billy Gunn is a phenomenal wrestler and road dogg
He's a phenomenal road dogg in addition to being a phenomenal wrestler?
Billy an Chuck were an AMAZING team with an AMAZING THEME SONG
I think it was the first time you saw "gay" characters as the baby faces. Even though that part was short lived, I remember rooting for them
We went the whole 9 ayeee yoooo 😂
I fucking loved Billy & Chuck. I thought they were both fantastic in that role and that wedding skit was glorious lol. I popped so hard for that 😂
The Word you're looking for is Zesty 🌈. Billy & Chuck were VERY... Zesty 😉🎉🎊
Legend ❤💪
Billy is great 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
15 years
3 months
3 minutess...
Wait a minute....
Did I hear myself just say....
3 MINUTES!!!!
I will always remember when they were in Ottawa, ON.smackdow show. My friend and I started chanting, " Billy sucks, Chuck swallows!" the entire arena started doing it after us. It was all meant in good fun and no disrespect! at the time I wa a huge fan of the team. When watch the match on TV few days later, the chant was muted....bastard Kevin dunn I assume.😂
"yeah we said something disrespectful but we didn't mean any disrespect. Fuck Dunn for muting our homophobia!"
“Wait a minute… did I just hear myself say 3 minutes!?”
Ace and Gary 😂
Chuck Polumbo was a really good talent too!
Hard to believe it's been over twenty years now.I remember the wedding being pushed so hard, it was the selling point of the "season premiere" for Smackdown, and how pissed some people (that don't understand wrestling) were that it ended up being an angle. Props to Stephanie for taking that Samoan Drop. I'd bet that the wrestlers that went on after had to feel a little awkward, having to follow that segment.
YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOK SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ;) GOOD TO ME!
Suggestive, is the word.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Ha.
Calling a bit of BS on it being ahead of their time, most of the gimmick was "LOL those guyz are soooo gay" Adrian Adonis was doing that 15 years prior. Lenny and Lodi were doing something similar in WCW 3 years beforehand. Not knocking Billy or Chuck for playing the roles they were given as best as they could, but saying this was in some way progressive is just blowing smoke.
It was the ambiguity and the weird awkward energy of it. Adonis and them were meant to get heat for their antics. Billy and Chuck magically got over even though they were midcard heels, and for me it was because of how they progressed throughout that gimmick.
Adonis, Lenny and Lodi, Billy and Chuck and Rico open the doors to Pretty Deadly.
Rip chuck
Chuck isn't dead?
I still don't get what the end game was supposed to be.
I think they wanted the shock value throughout the storyline rather than an endgame
Them married
@@kai6xx Rico wanted them to turn gay for real in storyline, where they thought they just wanted to be tag team partners for life as in if one got injured the other person wouldn't team with anyone else. Bischoff being the minister was a ploy to get revenge on Stephanie.
Just to subvert expectations for "comedy".
There was none.
Talk about Alex Shelley & Kevin Nash. Or the original iteration of The Beautiful People. TNA were normalising OPEN bisexuality in the 2000s, while WWE/ROH/AEW have never done it except as a coded mean-spirited joke (cf. Breezango).
❤ that duo.....😂
Can’t forget the Billy and Chuck theme is one of the best themes ever!!!
Honestly i prefer billy gunn and road dogg.
That is fair.
Road Dogg was just fa t guy cutting the same promo and over again.
@@adrenochromejoe7448 But he had so much charisma and was over. Sometimes its not about having the best moves, but being a good enough talker and getting a response from the crowd.
@@adrenochromejoe7448 The reason why i prefer them is because of they said on the mic and what they could get away with.
It was a head of the time until they backed out last second. I was really disappointed with the "...wait we ain't Gay or nothin!" Like what? Why all the sexual undertones? I mean it was built up to a big let down. But bless Billy and Chuck for going through it. That could have really been something special
They were cool to watch.
They could never get away with that gimmick today. Conservatives would cancel it for being too "wOkE" or whatever. Like they try to ruin everything good these days.
I wouldn't say they were ahead of their time because they didn't go full gay. They could've got married and kissed then it would've been ahead of its time -- but that wouldve killed the characters. Unfortunately how the marriage played out also killed the characters because it solidified they were NOT gay. They should have never had the wedding at all. Making people wonder if they were gay or not was what made the characters fun to watch.
It was ahead of its time because nobody was doing anything like that at the time. Has nothing to do with being gay or not. Has to do with the creativity of it and the fact that it worked so so well.
It would’ve been interesting if they tried to go forward with them as gay babyfaces after the turn. That reveal with Bischoff was so crazy, I could see them making a little run off of that trying to get revenge for the ruined wedding.
Ambiguous Duo 😂
I don't remember this story line...i wonder if I was to young to remember or what 🤔 loved Billy Gunn tho. That Famoasser
Lodi & Lenny Lane were ghei in wcw way before
I always thought they were fruity
I agree… that tag team was way way ahead of their time and they played it to perfection. We all know that they were metrosexual with the little bit of a gay vibe, but they did it in a manner that was very respectful.
A clear rip off of Lenny and Lodi.
Still wasn’t as gay as Pretty Deadly
Gay
ambiguous gay duo: way very funny! I thought that was great act!
LOL at claiming a ripoff of a several years old at that point SNL skit is "ahead of its time"
Billy Gunn sucked and always sucked. Now he has spawned two more mediocre talents and we are supposed to praise him. Nah bro. Good for Billy for collecting his paycheck from Money Mark and getting his kids paid too, but for real he aint it.
Omg challenging religious ideologies ooooooh....
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls people of all ages, dx proudly brings to you the BAD ASS Billy Gun the Road Dog, Jessie james, THE NEW AGE OUTLAWS
And if you're not down with that, we got two words for ya!
@@TheEman590 suck it 🤣
No they weren’t I love Billy Gunn but definitely not
Homosexual gimmicks were not NEW then.
Stop it.
But were there homosexual tag teams?
I remember zesty 🌈 ahhh Rico tryin to marry them on smack down 😂😂💀🤦🏽♂️ even back then everyone wasn’t fuckn with this ahahahah
Billy and Chuck was not ahead of it’s time and it def wasn’t cool. That shit was gay af with two guys who ain’t gay.
