Once the series is complete it will be the best. Actually why don't you take the opportunity to make Udemy courses? I've learned so much about web development from Udemy but anything 3D related is pretty lackluster, especially in the Blender space. I think people are craving more comprehensive tutorials. Web dev Udemy courses can literally take you from nothing to the skills of working in an agency. I have yet to see anything like that for 3D.

I dont understand why for me it doesnt work the way it does for you at 2:54. when i scale the z axis the texture scales horizontaly instead of verticaly and it doesnt go evenly all around the outter case
@@theblenderender rotating the UV doesnt help. It seems that scaling X axis gets me something similar. And even tho I plugged object coordinate object to mapping node vector I still dont get the same result regarding outter case beeing textured evenly around it. I get lines on the sides of it and dot-like texture on top and bottom. And thank you again for answering! I have joined a few discord servers for general blender help, but no one could help me in this regard.
@@Edvinas_Bartkus hmm alright, luckily the outer casing is divided from the backside so it shouldn't be a great problem. If it persists, you can also try adding a seam on the UV "to open it up". Hope you'll be able to figure this out

Apply transformations with ctrl+a probably. Let me know if that worked
