The 19 Slide does? Ive noticed their website says 3 times on the G19 frame that it does not work with their ported barrel, but the 17 slide does not say that though.
I wish they made one for the Gen 4/5 G20, mostly the Gen 4. I don't want to have that slide milled. They look really well built. Great information as always.
It really is nice to see a company like AIM Surplus putting out quality products for Glock upgrades that is “poor” can afford on a tight budget. They currently are on sale for under $40 bucks for a standard barrel, and around $43 bucks for a threaded barrel. Incredible pricing, so I have decided to buy two because at this price I can afford to, when initially I was looking at Zev and Apex barrels, but really couldn’t afford to. I’m so glad I found this video because it is what led me to purchase a pair of them (I ordered the TiN barrel, and a Copper threaded barrel. I still can’t believe the price these barrels are going for! If you’re looking for a barrel for your Glock, look no further than Aim Surplus.
AIM Surplus is a great company and I have been really happy with everything I have got from them. If you ever get a chance to tour the place Matt you should it's a really nice facility and the owner and people working there are just awesome.
Unfortunately it's in Monroe. 35 minutes from the house. You're correct though, great people, and great prices. I'm on the fence about buying a Faxon Hellfire, might just buy another G17 and toss on one of these slides so I can run an MPS on it.
Really liking your channel and content. You have quickly become one of my favorites. Have you had any issues with your optic moving inside the cut? If do another question and answer section it would be cool to hear about your Navy time. I did a little time in that organization myself. Thanks.
Thank you for the info. I don't see an affiliate link for thees on your page. Question. Can all OEM parts work for these slides? Or do I need new springs?
Unlike other channels, I don't only push affiliate products. Good products are just good products. For your question..I've never had an issue with all OE, or all aftermarket parts in these slides
Do you happen to know if these stripped slides need a striker channel liner? Someone said some AimSurplus slides didn't need them (and they were talking about 17/19, not just the slim-lines).
Do they come completed or do i need to buy the additional slide completion kit as well? Looking to purchase the slide and ported barrel for my PSA micro frame.
What screws did you end up using on the black slide. I just picked up a holosun 507c and I cant find the screw size anywhere on their website. I work on guns for customers and haven't ran across a slide with this course of a screw pattern and shallow depth.
@BecomingDangerous0 It's been a minute and I honestly don't remember. I can't say that issues getting screws to fit pops out at me though. And looking at the black slide with the 407 on it right now. They look like Holosun screws. I guess it's possible that whoever makes the slides for AIM has changed the threads since I got these slides? Sorry I couldn't be more help.
I have a 80% arms complete slide on a Glock 19. I’m noticing feed issues on the first round when I do a speed reload when the slide locks back on the last round. Only happens when I put in a new mag (yes it’s a Glock mag). When I slam in a fresh mag with force the slide racks without me hitting the slide release. Do you think it’s a magazine issue, ammo quality(federal & fiochi) or a slide issue/ barrel quality issue? The issue(sorry for edit) it doesn’t rack completely. Idk if my terminology is correct but a round goes into the chamber but the trigger doesn’t reset and the slide closed about 90% when I rack and chamber a new round it will fire. It’s just the first round.
@mattsam4335 The type of mag is inconsequential. There's good mags out there other than OE Glock. The slide releasing upon inserting the mag isn't uncommon. It's something that comes with the territory of having polymer frames. And I'm not at all shocked that it doesn't go fully into battery when it happens either. Any instructor worth their salt will tell their students to rack/cycle the slide if it goes home upon mag insertion. The slide releasing on mag insertion is not a feature. It's a design flaw. So it sounds like you're not actually having any issues. Just re-rack the slide and keep shooting.
I just received the after market Glock 17 slide that’s full of some kind of oil , maybe for shipping, I’m a beginner on firearms, can you please tell me how to remove the oil or will it hurt it if I just wipe it down with dry cloth , not sure what oil it is but it’s all over the slide. TIA
@ginahardee4891 It's fine. Always has been. Just as a note though. Optics don't wobble if they're properly torqued. I have a half dozen slides without posts and have never had an optic shift issue
He said they were good but for peace of mind I would always just buy OEM even if people like zev or aim or ggp make cool strikers and extractors. OEM always works
Been bit too many times by PSA. I won't touch them. Too many QC issues for me. Not to mention customer service horror stories. From everything I've seen of theirs...and I mean everything I've seen of theirs...they would benefit from raising their prices 10% - 20%, still be well within the budget price range, and read a book on quality control and manufacturing. Again, I won't touch their stuff anymore. It's not worth my life.
@@RTTGunsGear I agree, I have been tempted to look at the Saber line, but, with all the other $1000 ARs out there or build one myself, yeah I would likely pass.

@giovannimartinez2145 The Holosun C footprint, like the 407 C is an RMR footprint. The K footprint is the RMSC for smaller pistols like the G43 and 1911's.
The W3 serrated slide will 100% work with their ported barrels. I emailed them before buying it & have tested it myself. ~500rd of 124g & no hiccups.
The 19 Slide does? Ive noticed their website says 3 times on the G19 frame that it does not work with their ported barrel, but the 17 slide does not say that though.
