I feel like when people buy your things, they probably never remove the hangtags, because they are such gorgeous works of art, and obviously made with love! ❤
Oh. My. Lands! These are absolutely beautiful--all of them! I love what you did with the little table, and I love the colors you chose. That sage green is such a restful color. The whiskey bottle sure looks nice with your entire display--the mirror and all. I wish I had the creativity to see such beautiful things in older pieces that I see in thrift stores. I’m trying. I get so many good ideas from you, and appreciate all the great tips you give in your videos. Your are always the first I watch when I go to RUclips! Thanks so much for taking the time to make the videos and share with us!
Well let’s see, what was my favorite thing today? Umm, everything! The trim and stencil brought up the level on that table several notches and made it look custom. The lamp was gorgeous and the color and design made it look more mid century modern, which is my son’s style. I need to find a source for some bottles. That was gorgeous!! And of course, I love all birds. I use the gilding wax because it puts off a good shimmer without being too strong. Hope you’re week goes well. 💕💕💕
I have that same oil lamp and love it! But, now, I love yours more!!! LOL. Thank you for sharing your amazing items! I, also, have an iron base to use as a riser for something. You are amazing! Thanks so much!
Love that green color. You did a wonderful job on ALL your pieces, my favorite is the table and bottle. Like that old purse, you can send that to me, lol. Have a great week.
You make the cutest things. You just start painting and magic boom there it is. Your hang tags, I love them. Just like another lady said in her comment. The hang tags are just beautiful, a work of art. God Bless Rebekah
Lisa, I absolutely love these makeovers!! This is my color green!! I was very impressed with the bird when you were finished painting her. God bless you and your family. 🩷🙏
Hi Lisa, your projects look so good, as usual. The lamp is a beautiful colour and the hang tag looks perfect. The mirror and whiskey bottle go great together and my favourite is the bird, it looks gorgeous and it does look like the bird on the hang tag. I just love the bird. TFS with us. Did I miss anything?? I get interrupted and put the video on pause and then when I come back I sometimes forget what I’ve seen already. It just all looks gorgeous.
Lisa!! The mirror looks so much happier now! All of your projects are so beautiful and the grouping of them together is superb!! I love this video!! I need to get my hang tag done and send it to you 💝💞 God bless you and your family too😘👍🏽🙏🏽
I honestly love when I see a new video from you! I so enjoy your videos, I learn so much and they are always creative and inspiring 😊 thank you and bless you and your family!
Lisa I just love that little table, the end result was amazing. I have a few pieces myself & what you did gives me so many ideas. Thanks for sharing. Your crafting friend form Massachusetts Donna ❤
I love everything you did today. I agree that you and Cheryl from Farmhouse Frugally have the same taste and style. I will definately check out her channel.
Lisa, this whole vignette is just fantastic. The way the hang tag worked so well with the kerosene lamp is incredible. Also, when you look at the hang tag with the bird you have to ask yourself "what came first the hang tag or the bird?" And you made just the right call on the table by adding that little bit of trim to the front and the way you used the ink on the stencil and the two colors on the stencil just brings it to a whole nother level. I see now that if you have a plan, you can take an ugly side table and coordinate other items that do not even look anything like they would go together and turn them all into a beautiful vignette. I guess that's the secret of putting together a nice display is methodically choosing pieces with a vision in mind and making them all blend. I have a question. When you use the gilding wax, and it dries, does it stay on well so I don't have to worry that it will rub off when someone were to purchase the item or even for myself use it year after year. In other words, do you tell people that these things are very fragile and they should not be washed and they should just be dusted? That has been my worry about selling handmade things like this is to make sure that people know how to care for them so they don't inadvertently ruin them when they clean them. Great job👏❤ TFS
I agree. Although the gilding wax seems to hold up well, I sometimes will add a topcoat. The items I worry most about are painted glass items but just tell them to hand wash. I haven’t had any issues. Thank you so much for your kind words dear friend ❤️🙂
I love the colors you are using. There is one thing that I couldn't understand what you are saying. My hearing is not what it use to be. Are you saying slick stick you use to cover glass before painting? The name tags are great, not the usual ones you see in other videos. Other than my problem of hearing the two words mentioned, I just wanted to say your tutorials are easy and enjoyable to watch. Would it be possible just to add the different painting products you use during your video? When I hear something you use that is new to me I go straight to the good old Amazon to see where I can find it. Thank you and God bless you too.
Thank you so much my dear sweet friend. I did say Slick Stick. I am checking into adding an Amazon affiliate link. I’m not very tech savvy so every new step is a process😉❤️

Yes, I agree. I sure wouldn’t remove them! ❤
Thank you so much sweet friend❤️🙂
That hang tag for the Hurricane lamp could not have been more perfect!! I love it!
I wish I could find more clip art like that😉.

The painted lamp base looks like faux hobnail milk glass when it's painted with the slip stick. But I love the custom color you chose. It's beautiful.

Do you sell a whole display together or pieces separately and what are your prices?
Hang tags are a bonus touch for sure❤️
I sell everything separately and most of these items have sold so I can’t remember the price. I’m so sorry.
Love the green…
🥰❤️
So pretty
Thank you ❤️

What do you do about brush strokes? Im new to crafting
You might try lighter coats of paint. Also maybe a softer bristled brush and lighter pressure. The brush strokes don’t bother me much though❤️🙂
❤❤❤❤
😉❤️
Where do you get the guilding wax?
The gilding wax is from Dixie Belle🙂
Creativity…
❤️🙂
I bet you hate parting with certain things.😢
Sometimes 😉❤️
