Agree, great video! Let me help you a bit with some background info (I am from Austria, Vienna) WSW stands for Wiener Schwachstromwerke and was an independent brand of German Siemens in Austria. Please don't confuse it with "German", the design was purely Austrian, and so is the sound. ;-) it was build for the Austrian broadcaster ORF. I wouldn't call Neumann Austrian (as it isn't) so I think it is fair to not call WSW German. It may sound patriotic, however I think this is something that justifies my pride of Austrian audio quality. (Just think of AKG, or the Vienna Symphonic Library!) Again thanks for the impressive video!
"still have the low shelf on" ......Ok i'll get my coat, lol cracks me up everytime i watch this Matty lol reference ruclips.net/video/c3OM2MA1pic/видео.html
Great video, Matty! I agree with you. Though the eqs are highly sought after, but I prefer the color of the compressor for the genre of music I mix. The eqs don't provide the character I'd use for hip hop, r&b pop music, but they are really good sounding eqs! Salute!
