News from the WMSR has been very quiet over the last few months. Between 1309s piston rods, the lease of the George’s Creek division, and the evaluation for 734s return to service, I hope they didn’t bite off more than they can chew.

News on the WMSR hasn’t been quiet actually. The scenic railroad has been showing progress on what will be their new lounge car, Good Vibrations a few weeks ago. I have not heard any updates on the Ohio Rail experience restoration on Chessie System GP30 number 6955 I’m hoping to hear good news being a diehard Chessie System fan even having a cat with that name I hope to look forward to this locomotive return to operating condition
