Ooof. Extension cable on extension cable on extension cable….. on basically more extension cable, on power strips… Personally, I’d just require that a genny is brought in, or offer to bring it in myself and charge a fee. Too much risk for voltage drop and or for something to happen to one of those cables or connections. Also noting your trust in the shore power without testing or measuring voltage before plugging in your $20-30k in inventory!
Hi mate be good to watch you do drum kit eq with Yamaha de what settings your at on eq Iv same pa but use a berhinger xair 18 struggling to get a big kick drum. sound
That was my thought too. Voltage drop on that long of a run is going to be pretty significant. Not to mention not a whole lot of amperage available from those 2 outlets. I just ordered a 7500/6000 watt inverter generator, and a 50 amp power distro for my smaller gigs (future-proofing for a bigger generator, or venues with 50 amp 240v). 7500/6000 watts is probably pushing it though, with 2 tops/2 subs/4 monitors/amps/mixer rack. Guess I'll find out! Lol. I also have a 2500 watt LifePO4 battery/inverter setup (3800 watt hours) I could use for monitors/mixer rack/lights, hopefully not causing any ground loop issues... Just started learning about live sound power (I've wired up outlets in my home, that's easy by comparison. Lol).
When I first starting setting up at that location, it was definitely a concern. So much so I had a voltage monitor/regulator on it. Believe or not, the system is efficient enough to be able to handle it. I definitely would not run any larger of a system on it, but luckily, it's not needed there.
The main subsnake I use is a Whirlwind Drum Drop. It's 12 channels, 8 of those channels are XLR female tails. To catch other odds and ends, I either go direct, or I have two Cat 5 whirlwind boxes (one of which has built in DI's). But all analog to the DL32
ha! yeah, the parents had not a care in the world.... The temperature wasn't too bad that day, but I've been there. I think my most hated part of cold weather gigs is coiling/uncoiling the cables.

Fair points. As they say on the stock market, "Past performance is no guarantee of future results" Thank you for watching and commenting!
Very satisfying video.. best..
Thank you for watching!

Thank you for watching and commenting. I'll see if I can get some of that in future videos
friend, hi, I also rent and study to be a sound engineer, if it's not a secret, how much did you earn for this event?)
Wow that is a couple of long runs of AC even if your using 12 gage wire. How many feet was each of them two runs?

Hey man, are you running analog snakes upstage/downstage from your DL32 or just direct ?

@ thank you sir, great job on the videos
LoL, had to bust your your face blurring skills at the end.
Outdoor cold gigs are miserable, I'm surprised at the turnout.
