A retired lieutenant colonel, he created the First Earth Battalion manual, and was lead futurist and educational technologist for the U.S. Army; his story was chronicled in the film Men Who Stare at Goats. This man was an original. There will never be another like him. He has inspired a planet of people, and even seduced some Army stiffs to listen to his metaphysical ideas. What a guy!@ We need a whole army of Jim Channons.

@@soundgardener4940 James Channon isn't a fictional anything. He was a U.S. Army lieutenant colonel. He only lost one soldier in his battalion and never had to shoot a Vietnam civilian in his 319 day combat...all using remote viewing and intuition. Phenomenal! Every military arm should have thousands of Channons.

Probably decades or centuries ahead of his time. Here we are (at the time of this comment) in 2024...and although his ideas aren't perfect, it's hard to argue that the world wouldn't be a better place had we taken them to heart.
