It's time to give a big shout out to Rick! He's behind the scenes doing whatever needs to be done while everyone else gets all the attention! Kudos to Rick!
Kudos to Simon for creating the tool tray! In addition to being a very skilled "Jack of All Trades", he is also talented at designing ways to make the job easier and more efficient! Well done! Welcome back Alex & Lela! Billy, you are such a kind and generous person. You always remember to thank everyone each day for their contribution. You are absolutely the BEST!
I was so happy to see a certain dog jump out of a car. Welcome back Alex. Billy, you do a fine job being the camera man; and yet with Alex back we get to see you work and the videos are longer.
When the car with the roof top rack was backing up, I immediately knew it was ALEX! I watched the installation of the rack on his channel. Welcome back Alex!
I really appreciate Simon explaining the process of construction and how projects are done. Thank you I truly have learned something new every day. Love the whole crew and all the great videos that you produce.
This video brought so much joy. Welcome back Alex, Simon the clever thinker, Yannis sharing his skills, Rick and that smile, all led by the ring master Billy. What an awesome team. ❤🐨
Not to forget Ricks wonderful organizing skills. That makes the work so much easier. Saves time looking for all the little things, just like Simons tool station on top of the scaffolding. These are the small but mighty time saving solutions🎉🎉🎉🎉 They are all such great people!
It is great to have Alex and Lela back. You can hear the relief in Billy's voice. Nothing wrong with Billy's filming and editing. I have had a frustrating day, so seeing Rick's wonderful smile and Yanis giving the instructions has helped considerably. Simon demonstrating his expertise just tops it off. Thanks gentlemen. 😀
Moving right along with the ceiling and getting it done. Alex being back with Lela is great. Rick helping Yanis up on the scaffolding and Simon getting all the prep work done. What a great team and it is all working like a well oiled machine. You can see the progress daily, moving much smoother than the kitchen did. Experience is the key, now you know what to expect. Have a great day
Absolutely amazing as always!!! It is always such a pleasure to see such camaraderie and such amazing work. Welcome back to Alex and thank you Billy, Mick, Rick, Simon, and Yanis for bringing such inspiration and joy to the world. Be safe and take care. You're always in our prayers! May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He show you His favor and have mercy upon you; and may He watch over you and give you His peace. Numbers 6:24-6.
Please ask Yanis how comfortable he is speaking English. I hear him getting better and better. Love when he joins the conversation on camera. Also, Alex is back. Yay!
"Many hands make light work" as you wonderful folks prove every day! Great to see Alex and Layla back, and the smile on Rick's face just lights up the room
When finished, the convent would be a great wedding venue. Looking forward to Michael’s artistry on the chapel ceiling, building the gallery & moving the organ. But first things first.
Great design of the tool tray /caddy by Simon ( the genius) and I’m so happy to see Yanis transferring skills already. Bonus is Alex and Lola are back so we’ll see Billy in front of the camera again. Let’s crack on team!!
Welcome back, Alex! It is an incredible thing to watch all this renovation, with all these talented men, and there are absolutely no egos interrupting the synergy of the working environment. Everyone gets to work doing what needs to be done and there are no tensions, and definitely no egos! Great job everyone.
A lot of progress today, with some excellent teamwork. Well done, Simon, for the custom tool tray. Rick needs a tool belt. Welcome back, Alex & Layla. Those stairs 😍. Ali x 🏴💜
Hey Billy I saw you riding a horse on The Moon's channel the other day. It looks like you know how to ride. So glad to see Alex and Lala back. So much happening at the convent. I hope that one day I get to see the convent in person when you get done. So "Crack On" and I will see you tomorrow.
I have been watching your videos ever since November '23 and have enjoyed watching all of you guys work and do your magic. To me it's incredible how drastically, skillfully and beautifully you have managed to transform this place. Over the last couple of months returning back to you channel has brought me lot's of joy, Billy. I'm so excited for what's yet to come and am glad to finally be up to date with all the work you've done. Great job, all of you! Thank you Billy for sharing this incredible journey, of bringing this convent back to its glory, with us. Keep cracking on!!😊
I love all of Simon’s tips! I’ve never done much construction and probably never will but the practical nature of his tips can probably be adapted to other situations. And he demonstrates that there’s more than one way to do the right thing, and sometimes a small tweak makes a big improvement! So nice to see Alex and Layla back!
Hurrah! Alex and Leyla are back! Now we get to watch Billy work. Two on the scaffold is brilliant with another on the ground doing prep. That ceiling will be done in record time.
Today’s end pose 9/10😊 - 3 thumbs up including Alex and a wave from Simon which is a rare variation of his end pose. Very happy to see Billy in the end shot again🎉 Welcome back, Alex👋
Simone what a great idea for the tools. Yanis nice to see you teaching skills you learned. Rick your smile lights up everyone’s day. Billy your a marvel at finding great people to work with you restoring your properties.
Awesome to see Alex back! 😁👍 I hope his new luggage rack is working well for him! 😛 Also, you should consider investing in a drywall screw gun with a magazine, that'll make things so much faster for getting the plasterboard up! 😁👍
How wonderful, Layla and Alex are back. Rick is working today, Billy gets to do what he loves best and Yanis and Simon are really rolling on the ceiling ❤❤❤
Welcome back Alex and Lela 😀. Yanis , Rick and Simon work so hard. You’re looking amazing Billy, looking forward to seeing you on the other side of the camera xxx💕💕💕
Thank you for the explanation of the angle of the screws, Simon. Love the details and the why behind them. Makes us feel like we are part of the process.
Glad to see Alex made it ok. I am wondering if we will be able to see the progress in Simons property. You all work so well together such a great team!
I'll be in France next week on holiday and if my spouse weren't trailing along I'd drive by but alas... Will miss watching for a few days here and there but will look forward to catching up and seeing your progress. Love this Convent so much. I've attended lots of retreats in old convents (Yoga and meditation) and there is something very powerful in the energy. Since these Nuns were nursing it makes it a bit more special--no? Also, that Chapel will one day be stunning. Library...Bar...Kitchen...Dining room. 2024 and 2025 are busy.
Welcome back Alex and Lela!!! Well, it's another feather in your cap gentlemen. You are such a special team of men, getting things done together and it all works! Simon, the master leading a wonderful group of men. A joy to watch you work! Billy, you are to be applauded for your leadership and innovating ideas.
Pllllease dont forget that *the music* is an integral part of the style of the older videos.... I'm all for variety, but i *love* billys musical style for the older videos. There was not even one note in this vlog....
@MissGimpsAlot. I agree 100%. Said to say I probably won't watch much for the next month. Very sad Billy doesn't recognize his style of editing is what built this channel and the music is a huge part of it. I'll see you in a month.
Welcome back Alex! Billy we will miss your videography. You both have a wonderful way of filming the work on the convent. The Boss will be so impressed with the progress but perhaps not so much with the shopping bill (teasing). Crack On!!
A few quick questions for you, Billy (or whichever team member has a spare moment for questions!): 1) Have you considered a decorative botanical and/or geometric design on the ceiling plaster sections in the dining room? I’ve noticed painted motifs in between the beams in a lot of European/UK historic buildings (from rustic style to overly gilt) and thought it may be something you could use to change up the look between the spaces on the main floor. 2) What is the copper piece on the kitchen windowsill nearest the fireplace? It looks like a double boiler to my eyes but we don’t have a lot of antique copper out here in the north western Canadian prairies. 3) Plaster vs Venetian plaster, same thing or different? My friend and I have a running disagreement about this, he says the same, and I say Venetian plaster is waxed and polished after the surface is textured/smoothed. Bragging rights are up for grabs here! Keep up the great work!
It's time to give a big shout out to Rick! He's behind the scenes doing whatever needs to be done while everyone else gets all the attention! Kudos to Rick!
As a layperson I enjoy hearing Simon's explanations -- I think he would be great making tutorials for homeowners doing DYI projects.
Kudos to Simon for creating the tool tray! In addition to being a very skilled "Jack of All Trades", he is also talented at designing ways to make the job easier and more efficient! Well done! I really appreciate Simon explaining the process of construction and how projects are done. Thank you I truly have learned something new every day. Love the whole crew and all the great videos that you produce.
I really liked Rick's blurb about the new tools caddy. So nice to hear everyone explain this and that.
Yes I enjoy hearing why they do certain things. Very educational. Simon is a very talented man.

I have to agree, and am actually surprised you haven't built something like that for Bobby Blue.
Welcome back, Alex! It is an incredible thing to watch all this renovation, with all these talented men, and there are absolutely no egos interrupting the synergy of the working environment.
